Most of the heroes already have peak visual flex. At least the ones i play most often. So for a new set or set item to come up and be good enough to replace them is a pretty rare feat. At this point i'm lucky if this years cache has something. For new heroes like muerta, marci, dawn, set items are easy sell. The rest nahh

There are only 2 filters for me to say NO to a set: If i hate the hero (sets for huskar, viper, OD were a huge NO for example) If the hero has too many sets or an arcana (why so many sets for venge when its her arcana patch??? More sets for clock? Cm? Really?)

the point is deciding which to use for the collector's caches, right? if they do 2 boxes with 13 slots each, they'll use 26 / 248 skins. so while yes, a very high amount of them is cool or has something about them, u should ONLY UPVOTE those that are giga pog to u , so that those end up in the few box slots. so dont upvote anything u think is remotely cool, but exclusively the crazy sick stuff. for example - 4 marci and 4 persona AM sets, i only upvoted the very best one of each, despite multiple of them generally being cool. but upvoting the other one that's also cool, but not as insane as the best, valve doesnt know and might just put in the one that u liked less and the one u thought was super crazy doesnt make the cut. if u upvote 70-80% of the skins, cause they're mostly good, might as well not vote at all, cause the whole content of the boxes is gonna end up being random shit from almost the entire pool instead of the best skins...

it's so annoying that valve is such a slacker company... compared to league and HoN, besides immortal pieces and arcanas(and a handful of runes), u dont have skins that change the skill effects at all and i'd assume that the community designs cant do that either, as none of them seems to have had any skill changes ever. would be so much more hype, if u had more than just 1 immortal piece of 1 specific skill animation and that, in a fair amount of cases, doesnt even change it to a level where it's worth buying the immortal piece for. not to mention the void battlepass that i still get upset thinking about. biggest fucking scam. shitass company didn't even bother making up for it. could at least make some more effort on skins changing skill effects or let the community do so.
