Valve won't shut off water? Replace washer shut off valve, gate valve, spigot repair

Thank you for sharing. I'm currently going through the samething. The gate valve has water coming into the boiler, causing it to fill and the pressure high. I have to keep draining it down to the required level. 👍😎👍

That sounds like a pain. Hopefully it will be a quick fix like in my situation but otherwise may be best to replace the valve.

Glad it was helpful! I wish I could be more help for actual gate valves, as this is mostly about replacing washers, but some of the concepts should help with gate valves.
