This sounds good. But it would sound better if you eliminated those pops at the top of the revs with open flaps.

@@juras325This is factory tune, no burbles added! And it’s just a base, not a competition which adds that fake sounding burble

@@mcintosh.motors Yeah, its not even a burble. Its like engine sound increases the revs gradually and then it breaks of at the top, typical for s55 yet I have heard exhausts that do not have this.

So it's settled. Resonated downpipes will be the perfect setup. Love how clean this sounds. Just not into the raw sound anymore that's produced with open downpipes but Stock downpipes just aren't loud enough. Resonated downpipes should hit the sweet spot. Great job valvtronic

Will be trying 200 cell next as I think that may be a sweet spot for more volume but less rasp and a deeper tone. But I agree ultimately resonated I think will be the move!

It’s very enjoyable, definitely more smooth overall than free flow DPs but still has those aggressive low rpm downshifts and sounds just sublime at higher rpm. I may be getting old, but I actually might go to a set of GESI DPs just for more a bit more loud than stock but not quite 200 cell levels of volume

@@mcintosh.motors I had the Evolution Racewerkes catted downpipes and they sounded really good. Not as loud as ARM's which I tried before, but the ER's hid a lot of rasp, but created a deeper tone and provided more volume. I wish I went with the GESI, but I think I'll have a similar tone with the ER bc of the bigger catt. I currently have ARM resonated and can't wait to turn the car into something wild. If it's too loud I'll definetely slap the high flow catted one's back on.

With valves closed, you'll be able to keep the neighbors happy! It will sound almost OEM

very similar, this setup has been developed to deliver maximum emotion and volume, unlike many other equal length set ups
