In the books she wanted to rid the world of men as they were cruel to women, her blood lust was pretty erratic and evil but she thought it was for the good of the world. The movie makes it as if she was just hungry and evil.

Most of the bar vamps were younger ones. Younger ones are weaker than older ones and easier to destroy. Ancients, especially those that are millennia old are much harder to kill and they attacked her in a planned and coordinated way.

I guess no one remembers lestate basically raped her of her blood yes she wanted it at first but he kept going and he already drained her of most of her blood before the ancients even pounced on her. She was weakened That is why she could not kill them so easily like the young vamps in the bar scene. Am i the only one who remembered that part??

The author of the books that this movie is based off of didn't like the adaptations but she loved the portrayals of Akasha and Louis. She was a little effie at first about Tom Cruise's Lestat but after seeing the movie she changed her tune. Other than those two actors and one actress she didn't like the movies at all.
