I tried my hand at the challenge and succeeded without limit breaks using Cosmo with Gatti Amari (since those cat fights cover the entire bridge and do massive damage to enemies). Passives were Spinach, Armour, Empty Tome, Spellbinder, Candelabrador, and Torrona's Box. I also tossed in Wicked Season Arcana at the end just for kicks.

Oh hey, I just got this game about a week ago, unlocked Sigma yesterday and am currently piling up xbox reward points to get the dlc. Nice to see someone I recognize playing it! From the one run I've played on bridge, bouncing or horizontal weapons seem best. Bone, minecraft, runetracer, both whips, pinion, and lightning ring especially. -With the right combination of lag and movespeed you probably could have clipped through the walls and just fought outside of the stage where it's more open- didn't realize you were going for 1 weapon no eggs no cheese. Great job!

No, vampire survivors actually copied of a mobile game called magic survival. I played it way before vampire survivors even existed, and it's very good. While VS is a good game, calling it the original is wrong. Looked it up, and magic survival was released on 2017, while vampire survivors being released on 2021.

I gave it a shot before watching the video. Turns out No Future + the arcana Crystal Jail makes this braindead easy. Doesn't even need limit breaker.

This challenge is fun! Just managed to beat it with Bianca Ramba with all meta upgrades on (did purchase a 4th arcana). I also totally messed up and had a worthless item, and didn't pick up the wings on the stage. Arcana used: Silent old Sanctuary, Iron Blue Will (purchased), Tragic Princess, and Waltz of Pearls Items used: Empty Tome Candelabrador Torrona's box (Level 8, banished after reaching) Spinach Spellbinder (useless, you're much better off taking something like a duplicator) Clover Attractor (floor item) Also worth noting I had Rosary, Nduja Frita, and Orologion Sealed (all other seals were on weapons so they don't matter)

There is one design error they refuse to fix, Speed power ups are absolutely use because enemy speed scales with your speed. Delete the power up or stop the scaling....

I’m trying the dumbest strategy possible. The hardest version of this challenge. No upgrades except seals, max curse, and max charm (+100 enemy cap), no passives, no cards, no nothing. And random events turned on. Just the character and their starting weapon. I found a trick that lets you walk through walls. It might be MacBook Air exclusive. But it’s literally as simple as going up to any wall, and then refusing to be stopped by it. Monsters stop spawning once you’re far enough above the stage. Except for a few events, nothing can touch me. I can do this with any character. Fun fact. This is not a glitch. I have the email to prove it.

What I do for this stage, while weakened like this, is I hold up while the game is loading. That lets me start off the bridge before the first wave can kill me.

Second fun fact. Not even the reapers can reach you when you’re far enough off the normal map. I got a 30:58 at level 2 before getting curious how I was still alive.

Unless I'm wrong, the damage boost from Spinach is additive. Silent Old Sanctuary adds a heavy damage increase, so Spinach's boost doesn't make nearly as big of an impact at that point.

20MTD *is* a more active game since you have to shoot yourself, but I don’t think it has as much strategy. When playing it, I didn’t think of what upgrades to pick as much as I thought of which to get first, since every build has some upgrades that are clearly more important (ahemflamethrowerprojectileamountahem). I won’t deny it’s a fantastic game, but the ‘shooting down hordes of enemies’ is definitely the focus, rather than the ‘make an op build’ of VS

What build did you use? I did two runs with Poe using Arcanas like Tragic Princess and Divine Bloodline and both times I died nearly immediately at the 18 minute mark.

@@Shyguymask Blood Astronomia is a MUST HAVE. I guess it is fairly difficult, but the early game's the problem, not the late game. Also I didn't notice you not taking extra arcanas and did buy one on my successful run. Could probably do it without, but just surviving to get a build going is the hard part! Still, yeah, no Blood Astronomia, no run. That, Silent Old Sanctuary, and whatever else you think works.
