Drove into a Ford Dealership in 1993, pouring rain. No one would even come out of the showroom except their oldest salesman with an umbrella. Bought two new Fords from him that day, one for me and one for my wife. Sold my car privately. That's why he was their top salesman.

Isn’t that something? When watching footage of decades past I always try to put myself in the moment and imagine (re)experiencing an extinct modernity. But whether cars, fashion, electronics, whatever, I can't help but see them as quaint relics. The shiny varnish of newness is gone forever.

Wow I cant believe 1993 was 30 years ago, I was 6, were did the time go? They made some of the best cars in that generation. Still see them on the road today.

You won't see that happening much more often. These EV's barely are lasting 5 years without needing a full battery replacement.
@AdamsBrew78 Жыл бұрын
@@augere9620 That’s not true for the vast majority of EVs - unless you’re driving over 100k miles in 5 years. EV car batteries last 100k to 200k miles, 15-20 years.

@@AdamsBrew78 false. I talked to multiple EV owners and a lot of these Tesla's batteries are being replaced 3-4 years in. I'm talking about the X and S not the base model 3's. The vehicle is basically worthless after it has a warranty battery replacement.
