ME! The Ferrari BB 512 was the "big" 365. The name comes from the 512S, which was used in the Formula 1 in 1970. 5 liter V12 engine. In the 90ies, it was one of the most underrated Ferraris because of the huge costs of the engine maintenance. If this is a US model after 1981, it is called 512 BBi. Due to the emission standards in that time, the engine has a Bosch K-Jetronic injection. You can recognize this model at the parking lights.

I own an 04 v6 and some people may not know, that the rear bumper cover that says MUSTANG is getting really hard to find. When you buy a replacement cover these days its blank. Fun fact. Also, the v6 although low in HP compared to modern cars is very easy to work on and reliable if kept up. You can also get about 22-26 mpg on hwy.
@gavingonder7078 ай бұрын
I was recently given a 2000 v6 and it had over 330,000 miles when I received it. I have put almost 7,000 more on it, and it has had zero issues. The previous owner had bought it for his wife, who was a little hard on the clutch, but he was very good about routine maintenance, and it runs great. It still has the original engine and original everything, with the exception of some exterior add-ons (namely some unique paint and lettering)!

Sadly nowadays the late 90s and 2000s car parts aren't being made anymore which makes them a pain to find in good condition besides going to the junkyard to get a factory instead of getting an aftermarket which will be probably expensive…😤

Why do people treat the second most expensive thing they own like garbage ! Unbelievable.
@willvr47 ай бұрын
Some people just don't care about their car, and it's also a depreciating asset that is expensive to maintain properly. This thing probably just had engine issues and then was essentially abandoned.

So you guys can have the knowledge - This updated version of the SN95 is actually called the "New Edge" Mustang! I had one of these a number of years ago. Wasn't a convertible, but was a V6 in the red. Absolutely loved this car, and miss it dearly... Considering buying another one.
@blksnke218 күн бұрын
While yes, it is unofficially nicknamed the "New Edge Mustang," it is still just an SN-95 with the mid-cycle facelift, utilizing Ford's "New Edge" styling initiative, which also applied to the Focus, Windstar, and Mercury Cougar.

You guys did your usual stellar job! Personally, if this car really doesn't run, it's probably easiest for an experienced backyard mechanic to just repair/replace the V-6. Lots of extra parts needed to convert it to a V-8, I'm sure. The car looks in pretty good shape overall from an appearance perspective after you finished with it. And most of the accessories probably still work.

My grandpa bought an 02 Mustang that was identical to this one (except his was mint) a couple years before he passed. The first week he owned it he left it to me just to drive around, without me even asking. I took it to 2 proms. 2012 & 2013. The first one I asked him the 2nd his health wasn't doing too well and I didn't want to bother about it but once he found out he made sure that I knew I better take it. Anyways love to see that you guys took care of this one even if it is just a V6 automatic.

Hello guys! Apparently, that organic material you have on the headlights and paint is artillery fungus. Yvan Lacroix taught me it can be easily removed with peanut oil. I used it on my brother's Subaru Forester since he lives in Florida but spent several vacation days in Virginia, and when I visited him, I detailed his vehicle. We don't have that in Puerto Rico, so it was my ever first experience dealing with that organic material. Yes, it can't be removed, even spraying iron remover or water spot remover, and sometimes it's very difficult also with a synthetic clay towel or a clay bar before polishing and it was extremely easy with peanut oil.

Rust stains on plastic usually means high iron content or rust content in water. Rust stains on plastic may seem unexpected, but they can happen easily when metal objects are left on plastic surfaces or if plastic comes into contact with rust-laden water. These unsightly stains are stubborn but not impossible to tackle. In this article, we’ll dive into several effective methods on how to remove rust from plastic, covering both home remedies and commercial products that can help restore your plastic items to their original state. Materials Needed Before you begin, gather the necessary materials. The tools and products needed are generally easy to find and budget-friendly, making this project accessible for most people. Here’s what you’ll need: Baking soda: A common household item that, when combined with vinegar, forms a powerful cleaning paste. Vinegar: Known for its natural acidity, vinegar is excellent for breaking down rust. Lemon juice: A natural acid that smells great and works well for light rust stains. CLR (Calcium, Lime, and Rust Remover): A commercial product designed to target rust stains. Magic Eraser: A cleaning tool that can scrub away surface-level stains without damaging plastic. Scrub brush or abrasive pad: For tougher stains that require more elbow grease.
