That technique of dropping the circular saw down into the middle of the cut seems to work well. I've not seen that done before. Is that tricky to do?

Be sure to use a closed cell foam for insulation. I know someone who used styrofoam panels (because it was cheaper). Even though styrofoam floats, it will take on water eventually.

Absolutely, I always use and recommend XPS foam insulation for under the floor which is closed cell.

@@MoserMakes I was just trying to drive the point home, for comment readers. Many amateur van builders have no real concept of building materials and their properties. All foam is not created equal. Spray foam is another. Here again foam products are not created equally. Nice series you have going. Thank you.
