I'm an former International truckdriver and have been lots off times to Germany. Follow the signs of Autohof=Truckstop and you'lle find everything you need. Restaurant,tire shop,mecanic car/truck shop,good shower and toilet and not to forget at the gasstation of an Autohof the fuelprice is cheaper then along the highway !!! So you can buy more beer if you fuel up at an Autohof !!!! Looking forward too your next video !!! Regards Nico from Holland.

funny... i switched from Thedfort to a "shit in a bucket" thing too. I didnt wanted to carry all of my "stuff" in my van with me any longer. Now I poop in a bag an throw it away . That is so much better... 😁

Eisen: I have a thetford PortaPotti and I put a bag over the seat and poop in the bag, and it goes out of the van as quickly as possible into a doggy bin. I usually wee in the potti, and empty and clean each time I get home - I just do long weekends usually, but it can last me about two weeks.

When your fan isn't working, doesn't mean you have no cooling system. The fan/s usually kick in only when the engine is running and you're not moving. Driving usually pulls enough air through the radiator to keep the engine cool. Do you have a temperature gauge? As long as it doesn't go above its normal position, you don't need to drive round with the heater on!

I have been fortunate enough to have spent a few years living in Germany recently, enjoying Hamburg, Munich and Frankfurt and genuinely love the place, as well as The Netherlands and Denmark. Bakeries and restaurants/bars are the only places allowed to open on a Sunday - perfect. Also a tip is to always have cash because a lot of small cafes etc only take cash - talking from experience.

This trip reminds me so much of my best summer ever! Summer of 2000, a good friend of mine (also I should preference I was stationed in Germany, U.S.Army) and we followed the Tour de France, with stops in Italy and Spain for some sight seeing and finished all the way to Paris. Ironically, the Tour starts tomorrow.

Grab a couple of child locks i.e the ones for fridges for the table. Secure it on both sides and you’ll be sorted. Probably about £5 from a hardware store.

I’ve gone from a ducato camper to a roller team T590, it’s like a tardis inside if you looking for space. Under 6m and less than 3.5t. Rental companies use them so plenty come up for sale. Worth a look at

get a laveo dry flush toilet, works similar to the bucket you use it hermetically seals the bag, it can be expensive but the "bags" come in a roll & it heat seals everytime you flush

It was correct info, to turn on the heating, as keeps the heat away from the radiator/ engine…..it does give you a 10 deg. Advantage, better to be boiling hot than screw the engine! Really enjoying this series!🎉 Will I’m guessing the oven door has only popped off the hinges….google oven hinges And the Loo….yeah controversial but I go the same way….dump it in a doggie doo doo bin, snip the top off to keep it a compact bag, but remember to tie a knot in it before you get you scissors out

Yep 100% better than a buggered engine and it seemed do to the trick and the hinge seems to have come loose so I’ll sort that out when I’m back and 100% make sure to tie that knot 😂😂

One minute you're going to do up Mary when you get back, and the next you're saying it could be the last trip out. Sad times!! I say you should keep Mary, do her up and use for stealthier camping. Then to satisfy your desires and get some quality time with Evie on roadtrips, get an older campervan, mod it a bit and make it your own. Best of both worlds. Totally get you on the toilet situation. Our chemical toilet we used for camping is such a chore. Give me a seat and a bag any day of the week - easier life for sure!! Let's see how far England can go.... after last nights performance I don't think we will make the semi's. 😂

Iv brought a loo like that and Iv got scented gel sachets that go in so your deposits break down and soak up , and then just chuck in the bin. You can also use a scoop of kitty litter.

Motorhome downsides compared to van conversions: motorhomes are fragile. They are made of foam, minimum amount of wood and aluminum sheet that almost gets dents from mosquito collisions. Aerodynamics are similar as with medieval castle. You are currently driving a tank that has excellent spare part availability.

If your going to Berlin you can park for free at Avus Motel Halenseestraße 51, 14055 Berlin, Germany. Massive parking for lorries and Motorhomes ect, no need to stay in the Motel. And Amazing free wild swinging lake Halensee Friedenthalpark (früher Luna-Park) 5/10 minutes walk up the road, no need to wear a costume as most people are naked, Saturday and Sunday are best.

Well i think Mary is an icon to the channel, it be sad to see her go... Although why not look into doing chassis van build? Zero walls, build frame out of metal.... Bit like RyanTwomey done with Japanese Kei mini truck but on your own vechicle of choice. It can be old tipper van or pickup truck..... I reckon it will give you tons of new experience and something different.
