Well, I’m 29, I have a job and I’m in a 11 year relationship, but living with my parents, since my boyfriend is battling depression. I feel miserable. All the life I envisioned is crumbling. I have to accept that my relationship isn’t going anywhere and, at my age, I’ve lost my time and now I’m completely lost, and what’s worse, with a family and a job I’m not able to fully enjoy. My relatives have problems too and argue all the time. Their issues are affecting my mental health while I have to accept I’ve been with someone for 11 years and, while we have shared a flat for a while while we studied, now that we’re back in our town he doesn’t want to leave the comfort of his home and never thought about moving with me and starting our life together, and I was Ok with it. My life (and my plans to start my own family) feel like a failure. Sucks.

Ehh I'm 33 no kids no savings in credit card debt bad credit I have no friends and I drive a salvaged car Honda to be exact i have a minimum wage job I live at my mom's cuz I can't afford to pay high rent......... Some cultures are crap to help us develop as human beings and enjoy life. As much a I still like living in the UK between England and Scotland if you are just surrounded by British people are then surrounded by depressing people. When I travelled abroad many times USA, Australia I was constantly meeting new people from different cultures especially Germans who I describe as friendly, open minded and honest. I am trying to plan my next trip abroad and Japan is my mind. As soon you start mixing with people from different cultures that's when we realise the UK and British people are sad. Nothing changes in British culture the same binge drinking no one is happy regardless if one is rich or poor.

Im 23 elder siblings of my family and had two degree with good knowledge but still unemployed. I try to clear competitive exams and ca etc but I fail many now im hopeless . I know you might think its too much for my age but situation are vary right. I struggling to find my job but facing rejection and no response. I truly lost hope and my frustrations made me to do sucide but I controlling my thoughts and behaviour from the action. Who knows what is future is holding for me whether my present or past . Same here. 27, I'm in a relationship but I can't move out because I don't have the funds to do so, unemployed. Had a brilliant job at a school as a cover supervisor through an agency, but unfortunately due to staff cuts they let me go, and agency can't find me a substitute role. Back looking for work through agency, landed a role recently and was in the job for three days as a TA. Today I got called saying they no longer need me but apparently they were DESPERATE FOR A TA. How is that logical? Unfortunately back on UC for the third time since I got my useless international journalism ma degree back in 2020. I have experience with kids, media, charity and also from my failed pharma research apprenticeship scheme in project management, buf no luck because I lack the contacts and apparently the experience (about 3 years work and work experience). This economy is just crumbling. People want to work but they don't want to train/ provide the funds/ give you the opportunity to begin with and we wonder why unemployment is the way it is.
