Just got back from two days camped in the canyonlands. It was perfectly clear, full moon, not too cold. What the heck? It's still February and its like April out there. Whatever, I'm still going to enjoy it to the fullest. See you "out there".

Nice spring snow. Very beautiful backdrop. As for the dip in the river, going up to NH (live in MA) in the late spring with the family and jumping in the rivers up there, I know how cold it can get, you need to be part polar bear. The water coming from Mt. Washington can be pretty chilly. Another good one.

I do the cold plunge almost every day. Supposed to be good for your immune system. I’m 67 years old and trying to stay vibrant real long. I usually do a sauna first though so that makes it a little easier but it’s still real cold that my water temperature in the winter is 52° and I’m in North Florida. I have to take cold baths in the other seasons. But when I’m camping in the mountains, I jump in those streams instantly.

Jason you should try an Aeropress for your coffee. Small and cleans up without water. I just use a single paper towel to wipe up the plunger. Makes a great cup of coffee.
