Great news that you have reached 200,000 subscribers - very happy to be one! I love that you take the time to paint in real time and speak so clearly! I've struggled with drawing objects such as books, too but I discovered that if you try to draw by keeping visible the line you've already put in you stand a better chance of getting that parallel line! To try to draw it with your arm across your canvas means you have no guide line. It may be a little more tricky when you're working in front of a camera but if you stand at the opposite side your arm won't obscure the painting or the line you want to follow. Just a kind thought and a big thank you for all you share so generously.

My Glass gave me the absolute BLUES (literally and figuratively), but I did NOT give up. I had to walk away for a minute, but got right back in there, finished it and I'm so happy and impressed with myself of how it turned out. THANK YOU JANE! YOU'RE THE BEST!!! :)

Hey, I just loved watching this.It taught me something very well, that no 2 things have to be exact. I am currently struggling with Ariel and some friends have been saying paint her like Disney, well I can't, BUT.. I am painting her of my impression of what I think Disney is...THANK YOU.. for getting me back on track!! also, I ordered some of your brushes and am quiet pleased, as I do just rock painting.. but I love your liners and going to order some flats as well..
