The beginning the DJ talks about Rene Van Ep who won Eddie's guitar in a contest. After they meet and are shaking hands Eddie says to Rene in dutch, "oh, you won my guitar!" then in English, "you're a lucky man" to which Rene replies in dutch, "I'm really happy." Then the voiceover says in dutch, "and what did Rene think of it" then Rene says in dutch, "We didn't have much of chance to talk, Eddie gave me the guitar and then said a little about what was written on the guitar, which I won't repeat" after which Eddie jokingly says "it says, F**k you, buddy." Next scene, the DJ says in dutch, "last week not only a few thousand fans and Rene Van Ep were waiting to see Van Halen, but also 70 relatives of Eddie and Alex Van Halen which was not exactly common knowledge and somewhat unexpected at a hard rock concert. Then the older blonde lady says "I'm their Aunt" and the smaller dark haired lady says, "I'm also the aunt of Alex and Edward" then the blonde lady talks about when they were born and says "I saw them a week after they were born, Alex on 8 May 1953 and Edward 27 January 1955 in Amsterdam" The next ladies are various relatives saying how nice it is for everybody to get together and see each other again, especially both the mother's and father's sides of the family. Then you see Alex and Eddie interacting with relatives and signing autographs. At one point Alex says to the guy in dutch "yeah, I ate (couldn't understand exactly what he said), Then it cuts to the concert footage. Then the DJ says in dutch, "with me in the studio is Rene Van Ep with his Eddie Van Halen guitar, this is the guitar in question." Then he ask Rene "were you nervous?" Rene replies, "nervous, not really." Then Rene talks about playing the guitar in his band, to which the DJ ask, "Van Halen music?" Rene replies "not always" to which the DJ says "so does that work then" and Rene says yes. Then some random, talk from the DJ about next weeks show and then he says in English take it away Rene...this a basic paraphrase translation. It's hard to understand exactly what they say in the crowd scenes but that's basically what's being said.

1:40 the people you see are dutch family of Eddie and Alex .. the lady with the glasses is an aunt and tells about she saw both Alex and Eddie a week after they were born. The lady next to her is also an aunt.The indonesian looking people are family of their mother, the dutch looking people of their father. Wow, that was so uncomfortable. 0.o I don't know if René was a fan or anything, because he somehow looked like he was some random guy just coming from the office. Funny enough Jeroen said René van Erp is a guitar virtuoso. Perhaps listening to how he played the song in the outro, it felt funny that he was called that. Tho it also looked as if Eddie was kinda uninterested in René. But I guess things don't always go the way as you hope.

Yes, I think Edward seems outright rude. Maybe the competition giveaway was something that really pissed him off, seeing as he was in the business of selling guitars. He looks pained to give the guitar away to the winner and the "get down on your knees" comment is really awkward. Then it sounds like later he says "fuck you Buddy". EVH is one of my favourite musicians but he never seems to say anything respectful towards anybody publicly with out it seeming backhanded.

I kinda liked a few videos of him playing, but when he talks for more than a few minutes, I'd think he's vocally not like his guitar playing. Op 24 november 1955 werd de familie ingeschreven in de gemeente Nijmegen.
