When this pandemic is over, I think all of the Van Halen fans all over the world would love to see an Eddie Van Halen Tribute Concert featuring Alex Van Halen, Wolfgang Van Halen, Michael Anthony, David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar, and Gary Cherone. Wouldn't it be magical if the remaining Van Halen members also invited a guest guitarist to play lead on at least one Van Halen song, including the likes of Neal Schon, Steve Lukather, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Slash, Tom Morello, and other prominent guitarists?

So I remember a being over at a friend-of-a-friend's house in the late 70s and being introduced to Van Halen. (On vinyl, not in-person. LOL) This guy was over the moon about the band. More than four decades later, I'm watching this video and shaking my head at the amount of pure _fun_ the band is having on stage. And now _I'm_ over the moon.

I have,to date, appreciated and enjoyed every version of the Van Halen Band. Although each lead singer brings his own distinctive style and uniqueness, the backbone, and Life's-Blood of that Band has always been Eddy Van Halen. Given his undisputed reputation as an incredibly prolific and talented Rock musician and song writer, I've seen the beauty in all the band's different versions. Ed Van Halen, in my view, has done more for Rock music than any other single songwriter/Guitarist. Thanks man.

+ronald reagan maybe I short changed him a bit. Back in the late 90's when he did his tour pushing that call wabo things when he came into town, my ex won the tickets from the radio station - turned out 80% of the people there had too, it was a small venue too. he wasn't that bad but wasn't that great either.....how about I put it this way given the tickets I would go but I wouldn't had paid to see him....it all sorta fell flat. Regarding diamond Dave I was like any young girl and thought he was so cute back in the day, now eh? like yuck..... But like most people didn't like change .... But looking back I know why they replaced him with Sammy.

Van Hagar never got the respect they deserved. Everyone kept dissing Sammy in favor of Diamond Dave, but this is pure rock 'n' roll. I saw the first Van Hagar tour in 1986 - what a show!

This is the seriously one of the best live concerts Van Halen has ever done, every video I look up from this Toronto concert just kicks ass! And to think that while this was going on, the band was getting more divided and more pissed off at each other (well, more like Sammy vs. Eddie)

It is a pretty good performance. And when you consider where the band was by this point and time (mistrust, power grabbing, people taking sides ect....which of course was coupling up with the severity and extent of Edward's cocaine and alcohol problems becoming clear to the rest of the band. It's a recipe for a really fancy disaster dish.......🤔. And still they were able to give us this quality of live performance
