Yeah I agree. I’ve always liked the werewolf in this movie and the werewolf transformation in this movie is awesome. This is the best design of a werewolf ever but when it comes to werewolf transformation I have to say this comes second to the werewolf transformation in An American Werewolf In London

@@tetrasphere8165 I assure you it absolutely does not. @SchulzEricT Nor is the creature/Adam his "adopted" son. That Frankenstein failed to adopt his creation as a son kinda drives the entire freakin' narrative. Adam is like, "If you won't accept me and humanity finds me horrible, then make another like me-a mate who will accept me" and Frankenstein refuses by saying he's already made one abomination and won't make another. Hardly fatherly behavior. And since I'm at it, might as well drop in the factoid that Frankenstein wasn't a doctor. He dropped out of college after his little extra-curricular activity succeeded and he had a nervous breakdown. Maybe the first recorded case of a STEM major who could have saved everyone a lot of trouble if he'd bothered to take a humanities class before doing something just because he could.

@@jeremyfrost2636 A fellow writer eh? Pleasure to make your acquatience. Don't get me wrong, romance isnt bad. It just has gotten to the point where that is ALL it is and thats what honestly disgusts me. But you know what they say, if you don't like something, make it yourself. Ive now gone 3 long years into developing a Vampire Dark Fantasy in the Medieval setting titled Heir to the Eternal Throne. Going to be a saga of three books that will, I hope, bring back some of the old feels we would get seeing these creatures on screen. I will admit getting them to work within a Medieval Fantasy setting and not be too OP was by far my biggest struggle. A little counterbalancing got it fixed and I am quite happy with the results. Anyway, go for it mate. Write it. Film it. Animate it. Go for it. I can say for sure it may not be easy but I have been happy with the reults regardless of my struggles.

I absolutly love Dracula in this movie he's menacing, incredibly intimidating especially in his vampire form and he's also very soft spoken in some occasions which brings a large sense of unease, what makes him so much more terrifying is his name,Dracula literally translates to "Son of Dracul" in todays Romanian language, but it is derived from the Latin draco which means dragon, fitting considering dragons are indeed historically associated with Satan so that brings a great deal of weight to his name, his vampire form is one of if not THE best design I've ever seen coz it's big, horrifying and very very intimidating, his wings look as though they could be at least 17 feet which makes his form a classic design of Dracula, fitting considering that his name also translates to Dragon in Latin

In Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, The monster / creature was not named Frankenstein he was the creation of Dr. Victor Frankenstein. So when they say Frankenstein‘s monster it is the doctor that is actually the monster not the creature he created. So in this movie the creature was represented properly which is not always the case. Also I don’t know if you got the reference of Gabriel being the left hand of God, When they mentioned this in the movie and you find out who Van Helsing truly is. Van Helsing is the Archangel Gabriel one of the three archangels god.

Almost all mills, including water mills, were used to make flour and the dust was very combustible; a single candlelight would set the entire structure ablaze in an explosion of fire so all mills closed at sunset. They put that scene in as an homage to the classic but didn't know that tinbit so they filled the mill with alchool to explain the 'classic' fire in the windmill scene! I like this movie :) It's no masterpiece of scripting, but it's a lot of fun to watch, and you can tell the actors had a blast hamming the hell out of their roles XD

Elena Anaya , the blondy - laventer eyed , Godess , vampire bride , Aleera , she 's the most badass fem villain in a film ! Great opposite of Kate Beckinsale ! Anna Valerius ! And another fact ... That film had the most badass soundtrack of cinema history , composed by the one ... Alan Silvestri ! Composer of Volcano , Back in the Future series , Contact , Polar Express , The Mummy Returns and Cast Away films !

God, do I love this movie. I remember it best as the #1 movie that scared me the most when I was a little kid (specifically, the scene where Van Helsing transforms for the first time scarred me for life), and I had no idea what movie it was from until I got older. It wasn't until I was about 17 when I finally sat down and watched the movie in its entirety and I freaking LOVE IT. The negative reviews are way too harsh on this one.
