No so. That is a modern invention. In this case, if vampires exist, then so does God, and thus no faith is required. Though, I thought one interpretation was interesting, and that it was the faith of the vampire that counted. At which point does a Jewish vampire turn from the Crucifix, or must it be the Star of David?
