Jack's kite metaphor made me fully cry. I was just misty eyed until "and I fuckin' love that kite" and then I lowkey lost it for a minute. I feel like I've been waiting for Jack to admit that he loves Dean since the start of this series. I feel like DEAN has been waiting to hear it for the entire series. It's not like the audience didn't all know how much Jack cares about Dean--I mean it's reflected in pretty much everything he does throughout the whole series--but he's got these walls up, to the point where Dean, his best friend in the whole world, is insecure about their relationship. Jack's good for a big gesture--breaking in to prison to see Emma, standing up to his parents for Dean. But he's not great at just simply saying it. I mean, the Jack/Emma scenes in the prison episode are great, and he obviously cares for her very much, but there's not a lot of genuine sincerity. Not like the kite dialogue. What Jack says here is genuine, real emotion, without any jokes or fronts or quippy remarks. Finally, after all this time, after so many times he played up how much Dean annoyed him, after pushing Dean away time and again, some of Jack's walls came down. This got really long, but tl;dr the kite metaphor killed me dead and this series contains some pretty complex character development for what seems (at first glance) like a fluffy little comedy series. (Maybe that's the real joke)

My little heart DIED OMG. Y’all have done such an excellent job with this series and I wish there were more episodes. Every single aspect, from the script to the camera work to the lighting, is fantastic - you didn’t have to go that hard but you did that for us. I also loved how you guys expanded from just comedy and wrote some very serious and heartwarming scenes while also making them feel like Jack and Dean. The kite scene legitimately made me tear up but then when Jack broke the moment it was that much better of a payoff. This is incredibly good and high key inspiring.

this was absolutely brilliant. the inside jokes all coming together and getting subverted. "show him a bit of respect. we're not soz, mate!", dean finally having seen the film... honestly, brilliant. marve, again, is just such a funny character. "facial-time" "you're mansplaining" her delivery is just perfect i'm so glad she was a part of this show. can't wait for the special. adore this series. it's witty, hilarious, fast-paced and beautifully shot. well done, lads. really, really enjoyed. i'm really going to miss getting one of these every other day.

I love the fact that when Paul is waving the gun around, Jack hurrys him to getting the key when the gun is being pointed in Dean's face. Its a nice subtle way to shows how much jack cares for dean, before the big ending speech

I love the hell out of this show. Now, I don't know if legally you're allowed to, since it was *technically* a Fullscreen Original, but if you guys went to a major streaming service and pitched this to them, showing them the incredible talent just within the first two seasons, you'd no doubt get picked up.
