I’m doing my first UK winter in my van and prepping… slightly tempted to drive south but im up for the challenge!!! 3 places definitely on my list are Chatsworth house, cheddar gorge and Forest of Dean, I think we will be warmer in vans than most houses this year so maybe we’re actually the lucky ones 😅 Have a safe drive! I’ll wave if I see you on the road but I’m not opening my doors and letting the heat out unless I really need to 😂

On my first van journey to Spain I found Osuna on my way south 12/21. It was the first warm place with lots of space after blizzards in Burgos and lots of snow north of Madrid. I'll be back again this year. Great to see you guys heading North again.

We live off grid up in North Ontario, we moved over this year , born and bred on the Wirral, UK but also lived in Canada 11 yrs way back. Anyway...we are returning for 5 wks Dec- Jan and rather than everyone worry about putting us up , we decided to van life it and visit each of our gorge children 2 x 22yrs old and our 30yr and our scrumptious 16mnth old grandson, friends and family. It's not an rv but not a vw but inbetween. We have a heater and lots of duvets, sleeping bags and as well as parking in our friends and relatives driveways , we ordered a really super book that tells you were you can park for free and safely ...just wondered if u had any tips. Love your vlogs and travels Hope we meet on the road :)))

Nice one Margaret. Agree that is one handsome castle. A landmark for miles around. Nice to see places that we know. Cordoba has a cracking motorhome spot, a bit pricy but right next to the city walls. And yes we have spent several nights in that night out spot at Cardena Nat Park. Just love the Sierra Morena area, all the way from the Portugal border to the area you are in now. Those mountains are Sierra Morena Andulucia.
