I grew up in Sisters! Chush falls is a good one, make sure you don't stop where it says End of the trail. It continues another 1/2 mile to the most beautiful 200' waterfall. 3 waterfalls total on the hike. Also out in Crooked River Ranch, Steelhead falls is a great swimming/cliff jumping spot! The mouth of the Metolius is cool. Black Butte is a great hike. Definitely hang out in Bend for a while and eat the great food, with the most amazing people/ atmosphere. Also up past Mt. Bachelor on the scenic highway is an amazing place for van life, lots of lakes, lots of hikes. Broken top is an easy one. But if you want the best view of Central Oregon and have a whole day for a hike, summit South Sister and you won't regret it! These are some of my favorites! Let me know if you need a tour guide! -Jeff Oh and of course you have to check out Smith Rock. Figured that was a given.

Check out Broken Top Mountain. Its a few hours hike there and back. Its really cool. Remnants of a volcano that blew eons ago.

Ha, I think the singing is something that happens if your alone with eachother too much... Lol we started doing it on our first big backpacking trip, after a few weeks of not really interacting with others...we kinda just started out g it...
