Van Life in Salento: A Hidden Italian Gem

It's getting much cooler in the south of Puglia, but we're still enjoying wonderful, sunny days as we take the time to explore the beautiful Salento coast. In this week we finally make it to Santa Maria di Leuca, the southern-most point of Puglia and where the Ionian meets the Adriatic.

Difficult to find bins for the "Separate Waste Collection" they have been reduced to a minimum, they are not necessary.............. every morning they are collected, separated by type, "door by door", every morning, every single house and throughout Italy of course. Haven't you noticed the colorful bins outside all the houses early in the morning???🤔🤔🤔 Comunque, siete una coppia simpaticissima, buon viaggio. Ciao ciao.

To be honest we're a bit sad not to have made it to Sicily this year. But we really gave Puglia a good chance and it's been brilliant.

Unfortunately no. We decided to stay in Puglia until after New Year. We're planning a few weeks to South Africa for some warmer weather. When we return we'll take a ferry to Albania or Greece
