Hey guys and welcome to part 2 of my previous video where I was finally able to travel around in my newly converted car.
It was yet another learning process as we woke up to a flat battery which meant we had to call the AA to get us going again. Still that's what this short trip was all about, to figure out how everything would work and try to prevent these issues in the future.

Dead Battery is annoing, but sorting it out is pretty simple actually, specially in a Manual Transmission car(Like Your Van). All you need to do is put the van into first gear, press the clutch fully in and tell your buddy to push that van from behind, as the van starts to move and gain some momentum, let the clutch out rapidly. Your car will start even if the battery is drained completely(the car will jerk before starting but it is normal and wont harm your transmission or clutch plate.) (Can also be done on downhill roads ). Note: While following this procedure of push starting, your foot break might not function so use the hand Break to stop the van in emergency conditions. This technique is pretty safe if you have space and manpower to push your van. Then drive to repair shop or battery charging station without stalling the car to charge or replace your battery. This technique has helped me a lot. Regards from Nepal. Travel Safe and free.

If your battery keeps playing up (and you've checked the battery voltage etc) check the fuses on your car. Sometimes the battery dying damages the car fuses and then its like a vicious cycle
