A short trip in our Tiny Van to the wonderful town of Bakewell in Derbyshire. We stayed on the Greenhills Holiday Park Camp Site which is just a short walk from the legendary Thornbridge Brewery.

Hi, you defo had me on helens baps! Glad you two are living it up and enjoy life. I like the looks of Bakewell and it's various hostelries and eateries... James I am gutted I didn't make it onto the edit so can I please get an invite to the first next meet of the fan club. The bread and camembert breakfast would do me nicely although some bacon on that would I think of lifted the dish 😜😜😂 You definitely need more than one cup though ... The walk looked great though so thanks for the heads-up ...2023 is definitely going to be the year Jane and I get out and about to different places ....this could be one ... Be happy , be safe 🙏🦉 G

Not Barnsley area exactly but there is a very good recommended garage in Harrogate called Harrogate autocentre. Great guys that know their stuff and they won't charge you arm and a leg

Loved the intro, I had to look up Vera Duckworth and Selwyn Froggit so I could match you two with the characters....perfect! Helen, I came down with a head cold last week and had the raspy sore throat like you, hope you're doing well now. And, speaking of stubby fingers, I have the same problem. As I've gotten older, my fingers are getting more rounded and it's harder to text on the phone. Thanks for showing how the bed is made up, I wondered what kind of set-up it was. I used to have a campervan life ,stayed in bakewell on the way to York from South Wales. What another brill vid you both keep me smiling Helen reminds me of my girl friend I had at the time ,about 15 yearsago she used to carry alsorts in her bag to sugar tomato sauce sachets etc keep it up you pair 😀

Love Bakewell, stayed on Greenhills about 2 years ago and couldn't believe how big it was compaired to when it first opened years ago, it was last week of school holidays and it was teaming with kids ! Unfortunately we was bang next to the play area which was a nightmare as got no peace at all so wouldn't recommend in Summer holidays unless you don't mind lots of kids (get me sounding like the old fuddy duddy) sorry. Must have missed the brewery god knows how ! Other half would certainly enjoy a visit to there next time we are away. If you every go up North Yorkshire the Black Sheep brewery near Masham is worth a visit and loads of fab places to walk and visit.

Hi, I love your videos. Watched all the van stuff from when you said the rent was going up. It's brilliantly funny and heartwarming. Anyway I have one issue - you don't always sign off at the end. There's no warning and then boom, you've gone. Please give us some warning, a little signing off routine so we aren't suddenly cut away. I'm not sure my heart can take it 😉😄

The bed is a pain in the backside but once you're in, it's quite cosy. 90% of the time I am by myself so it's just in single mode. I'm planning on getting a bigger van when I've got the funds
