From the functionality standpoint, this is one of the best van built I have seen. Good choices big and small, things many people will not consider. If I had the money, I'll add/change the following: 1. Install one of the new 10.3 CuFt 12V fridges. According to RV dealers, they get colder 4 times faster than regular RV refrigerators, and also the energy consumption is so small, a single battery with a single 100 watts solar panel will be enough to keep it running for more than a week. 2. All the solar I can put in. 3. A recirculating shower.

@@plaidmustache Many of the mayor RV refrigerators are moving to 12V refrigerators. The roof deck is green treated deck boards with Black deck stain bolted to the roof rack. It has 2 -160 watt renogy solar pannels on top with 2 MaxAir fans.

Awesome build! Great attention to detail. Especially love the lift up countertop over the stove. Only improvement I see possible is to attach a stainless or aluminum panel to the stove side/underside of the counter that folds up, as it would act as an oil shield and fire block.

I love the clean white panelling, but would have accented throughout with the Seafoam blue /green palette and various seashore pieces reminiscent of the ocean to suit my taste in build. I suppose a bed could be built into some of the storage space for one or two kids too. Love, love the bed hinges for sitting up to watch TV inside or the garden/terrace view out the back of the van for comfortable drive-in viewing or socializing with friends. All in all A+. The customer should be very happy.

You are Soo creative with your use of space. Foldable bed design is what everyone should have. Out side scenery and projector movie watching. All the electrical and plumbing pure genius. You are constantly learning from your builds. That's what puts you ahead of everyone else. Your next step would be starting building and Selling. Lots of great features here and the overall finish is professional! Love the bed going up both directions. That is a good design for a queen bed. The garage is enormous! Tempting space for a bike. The Lagun table set up was functional, nice to see they driving seats doing double duty as a lounge too. The kitchen extension table - I have seen one where you could also set it at a lower level to serve 2nd passenger seat as a desk. It does not have to be static. I do not understand how you could dip that water hose inlet into a bucket, turn on water pump and have this fill up the water tank automatically. The water pump draws water out of the tank and sends it to the faucets and toilet and water heater. How is it going to work? And if it fills tank pump will draw it out to faucets immediately. This is very unclear.

No ventilation under the mattress. You're gonna have mould problems every time. Slats are a better option. Other than that, cool build.

There is a venting system (material that is vented and lifted) made for boat mattresses that can be used slides under the mattress and a few others that prevent mold.

Great build! ❤️🌺 I want to add a vent fan in the shower bathroom on roof ... and van security. I don’t know why I haven’t seen much on KZbin about van security. I want bars over the windows may be removable or unhooked from the inside and a metal grate with a lock separating the cab from the house which can be locked and unlocked from either side. I’m also interested in extra thick security glass in the cab- and I want to know cost. Side door needs a chain so it can’t be popped open. Also incorporating a computer swivel tilt work desk for a long work hours that can be used from the driver seat turned backwards. I HATE cooking smells especially in my cloths and bedding. Need extra powerful fan setup for kitchen. Also need bigger water tank and bigger battery. Might need to upgrade fridge. Need more hooks for things. You have the best builds I’ve seen so far. Can you build me my dream van? 😍

Very nice.. Put this build on a Transit Ecoboost 3.5L AWD dually chassis with maybe a 2-3" lift! Also, gonna; need a TV but that's easily doable. Also maybe a bit more solar.

this is really beautiful and well-thought out - again. Really Love your lift up bed into upright seating!! Have you ever designed one that has walk-through access to the rear doors? i.e. single traveller, single bed along driver's side that hinges up for outdoor viewing. Leaving other side for office/work station/or low shower/loo/etc? Very anxious to get mine going - waiting for house to sell. Beautiful work!

Really impressive build! One of the best I've seen. Questions, there is a lot of wood in this build, is/was weight an issue in the final design? Was 80/20 or another lightweight construction material considered to reduce weight but not sacrifice strength? I'm assuming you mounted the stove far beneath the fold down counter top to avoid any potential heat damage? The stove appears unnecessarily low preventing oversize pans from centering on the burners. What was the design issue that made this position necessary? Thanks for the tour!

I end up adding less weight than the mass-produced competitors. It usually adds about 2500 lbs. All the cabinetry is very solidly put together and bolted to the frame of the van that is intended to hold commercial racking. The lower stove is a customer preference for more counter space. I can put the stove at counter height if needed.

I live in Breckenridge Colorado so am thinking AWD with super insulation. Laurie you can purchase a breathable mat on Amazon to go under the mattress to prevent mold. And there is some airflow with the hinging bed as well.

I like the build! I am getting the same sized van in a few days, so it was good to see the space constraints with the refrigerator, shower, closet, and the swiveling chairs. Your storage of the lagoon table top was also very cool. I think I will be doing a shower pan in the van floor shower to enable a larger dining space utilizing the swivel seats. How much sleeping space do you have across the van for that bed? How thick was the insulation at the head and foot of the bed to allow for that space? Again, very cool build!
