Hello Joe and Kait. I have been watching your travel blog since the summer of last year and I need to thank you. Because of watching the two of you, I got so inspired to change my life to a much more adventurous version, that I sold my house in south Florida, drove 2200 miles, just me and my dog, to Tucson, AZ. I’m staying in a motel for now until I can move into a small house that overlooks the Catalina Mountains. While driving, I thought of you constantly and of Leo just as much, maybe a little bit more. After I move to my new house on Feb 1, the next step is looking for a camper van or a small Class C and go where the wind blows. You two have made a big impact on my life and this particular video was great in telling me where I should get the best bread and tamales here in town. Thank you so much! I hope I’m lucky enough to run into you one day. Leo is super cute, especially when he yawns! Traveling or hiking without a dog? No way. Love you guys!!! BTW Tucson is amazing and I highly recommend getting the Arizona State Parks pass for $75/yr and check out the trails at Catalina State Park. Amazing place!!! I go there daily.

We went on that Titan tour when our son was about 8 years old. He got to sit in that chair. He is now in the Air Force (8 years going) stationed in Minot, ND, near missle silos that still exist.

I love the Pima Air Museum, one of my all time favorite places and always wanted to visit the Titan Missile Museum but never got around to do it. I worked on that B-52 tail number 0133 both at Loring AFB Me. flying Chrome Dome missions during the cold war (before it was painted camo) and again at Anderson AFB Guam flying missions over Vietnam. *Dance the Skies*

That was great. Whenever my family visited Tucson, we almost exclusively went to art galleries. I always wanted to spend more time there exploring other parts. I know people who use to go to Tucson Gem & Mineral Show held there and they often raved about how much fun it was to see. Thanks Joe and Kait.

The Titan missile silo tour is pretty interesting I took it back in 1991. Later when you guys were on interstate 19 you commented about the strangeness of using kilometers. You were still in the US but the highway department uses kilometers because of the high number of foreigners that travel that route to Tucson for shopping. It’s just a courtesy that they do because Arizona benefits from a lot of money coming in from Mexico. People from Mexico that have the means make large purchases of Arizona merchandise. I’m still watching the video so I don’t yet know if you ended up in Nogales and decided to go into Nogales Sonora. Whatever I do enjoy your videos. By the way 2 son gets pretty cold in the winter because it’s high desert. The all time record low temperature in Tucson was 6°F and I believe that was in the 1960s. Winter weather is more pleasant in the valley of the sun where Phoenix is because it does not get as cold. Yuma is another good alternative for winter

That bread looks and sounds wonderful...as you bite into it. I just have to go there. I grind my own spelt grain and make bread for my family, but I do love the artisan breads. Don is truly an artist!! Bread has been given a bad rap. The digestibility is all about how the grains are grown and how the bread is prepared. I have to get there to try Don's bread.

I love the Pima Space and Air Museum! The guides there are the real deal. There is John who used to be an F-4 fighter pilot during the Vietnam War. These guys are so much fun and knowledge about their past and history of flight. The museum has a bit of my past too. They have the C-130 Hercules and C-141 Star Lifter transport aircraft that is very near and dear to my heart. I was once a young Army Paratrooper and started jumping out of those airplanes at 17 years old when I joined the Army. I love this place guys.

Normally, I would have had no interest in that missile museum tour, but I think it is important at this time to really reflect on the consequences of what it means to launch one of those...especially since some are thoughtlessly tweeting about pressing the button. I had goosebumps, and chills too. Thanks.

Glad you both toured the Pima Air & Space Museum. Some of the best "Static Display" air museums throughout the country are Naval Air Museum:Pensacola, FL, US Air Force Museum Dayton, OH, Strategic Air Command Museum Ashland, NE, Pima, and the Castle Air Museum in California. By the way, the B-36 was the Air Force's largest wingspan aircraft. The one at Pima is only one of four still around. Did you both get to see the AMARC aircraft boneyard across from Pima?

I'll take a couple loafs of the Apricot/Cranberry of the bread please!! I lived through the Cold War era and there are some rather unpleasant memories for a young kid. I especially remember the Cuban Missile Crisis. My father had arranged for us to leave the Niagara Falls area because of the huge Hydro Electric Power plants on both sides of the border. He felt they were targets of any possible missile strikes. It's disappointing to see today that we apparently haven't learned from past history.

Hey, that was cool that you shared those tours along with the bread and tamale shops. I have been to Tucson twice and I am returning next month. I have put those places on my to do list. One of the tours I'm going take while I'm there is the Kartchner Cavern tour. It's about 50 miles south of Tucson in Benson Arizona. If I'm not mistaken, it's one of or the only living cavern in the United States. You might want to check that out. I here they have great camp grounds there too.

You know Joe, when you were driving, and bit into that piece of bread in your hand, that "crunch" sound made me go crazy lol! That was DEF quality bread making! Ok, having seen the bonus video of the Titan Rocket Silo on #Patreon, I got a first hand look at how you edited this video. Dude, whoever edited this video, did a SUPER FABULOUS JOB 👍👍 This video brought back some memories of my grade school childhood during the Cold War! I was also fascinated by the Vietnam war too during those times...realities like death & horrendous suffering, weren't part of my understanding yet, just the thrill of big guns and cool jet aircraft! Great video by the WTR TEAM 👍👌😎✌🏻

Joe -I felt the same way after seeing Last Jedi the first time (I am an OT fan since childhood). Saw it recently the second time and loved it. Plot made more sense, got the humor more, and picked up so many details. Rian Johnson wrote this movie with alot of layers that you can't appreciate in one viewing. See it again -you will like it. Many others like me have experienced this.
