My love for Van Morrison's music is beyond the stars. I love how he sort of freestyles and there's nothing conventional about his music. He takes his songs wherever his heart takes him. What a brilliant artist. 🙌🏿🙌🏿

Saw him do this at Glastonbury in umm '87 . Moving was NOT the word. I was "Transported" !!! The whole show was brilliant, but this song Excelled ... words can't do that performance justice. Mercifully there was an excellent bootleg. I tell myself that I can hear my cheers ... maybe I can ;^)

Yeah, Common One is a great album and the very first one I heard by him. I love many others and, of course, astral weeks is wonderful but this will always pip it. Opinion is mixed regarding that album but who can deny the brilliance of this song. Worth having the album just for this. Saw him in the early 1980s and it was something else, much more than just entertainment.

Montreux is beautiful. Been there twice. In winter and summer. LOVE ❤️ the castle. Byron etc. The Prisoner… statue of Freddy M looking onto the Lake. Stayed in the hotel where Nabokov spent his last days. Never been there at the festival. VERY expensive place for me. And they speak French ffs which is great. Some lovely photos from then. Maybe 2004/5 and again 2008.
