Van Revival: This was the reason I decided to...

Recently I found the cheapest VW T4 I could find and purchased it.
This is the VW T4 LWB 2.5tdi ACV engine with the o2g gearbox,
So today we removed the gearbox to swap over with my other van. This plan of swapping over of gearboxes soon changed after I noticed this. I changed a couple of worn out bushes on the gear linkage, and I also go through the costs and the time spend so far.

It may seem long winded but could you do your regular videos and maybe create a second channel for " raw footage" where it's basically just watching you work, fut and tut and everything as they sometimes hold little snippets of vital info which aren't on edited videos

Kind of knew you’d be repairing and restoring this van.. DMF’s etc way too expensive on VW’s but if you can do it yourself you’d be well happy.

I couldn’t resist the temptation of another project, especially when it’s just sat outside the front door 😂 Yeah it’s expensive for what it is but it’s done now, wouldn’t like to know how much a garage would charge for this, must be near to a thousand pounds.

Knew she’d be a keeper. Lol. The DMF kit a slave wasn’t cheap. Be good to know details of the DMF you choose and why. There appears to be so much choice on the market all a various prices. Thanks

To be fair this kit was the only way to get the dmf for the next day delivery from gsf, and most prices are for just the clutch and don’t include dmf, and places like euros list it wrong and don’t even supply a dmf, expensive but it’s done now, I’ll cover it more when I do the red t4 👍
