Isn't that the sad truth. Often over petty, almost forgotten arguments. My mum and dad are both still with us... Just.. Very much on a day to day basis. As you say got to savour every phone call, every trip, every laugh shared

Moving back home or back in with family after you've been out on your own is a hard thing to do. But sometimes it's necessary and I applaud you for doing hard things and being honest about it.

Don't let anyone talk down to you about moving back in with mum & dad, housing costs are so horrible in every country rn but especially england! but also I think that most people should come around more to living with their parents when their parents aren't bad people, it helps them as they get older to have you around and they can help you make sure you're eating/sleeping well. Love the update, thanks for sharing your day with us. Some of us don't have good relationships with our parents so it's always refreshing to see those relationships going well for other people.

Alex, Followed you and your brother for a longtime, I didn't just follow for the content but more your honest, straight forward and innocent personalities. Please stop delaying, you have the van, you have the ambition. Get travelling why you can, the world is changing, you won't get younger (thats the issue with time). Get on the road, go and explore, stop getting trapped. Best of luck :)

sorry Alex for just watching this now, but i was gardening, mostly inspired by you i must add. i was a flower guy so far so i have 2 passionflower plants, 1 wysteria, 2 clematis, millions of bluebells, tulips, dahlias, cordilines, yukkas, etc. but we decided to do vegetables this year so ive built raised beds and the veggies are growing like nuts and im fighting aphids and slugs the organic way so its a hard battle. but im winning. so please be proud, as we are now growing: 44 cukkinis/summersquashes, 77 tomatoes (now this was due to the fact we thought that not all of the seeds will germinate. well they bloody did.) then we got beans, peas, carrots, sunflowers, cauliflowers, salads, raspberries, strawberries, sorrel, mustard, radish, onions, garlic, kale, chives, 2 sorts of parsley, surprise potatoes and this still might not be everything. and all this without a garden!!!!! all we have is a small concrete backyard. yeah its crazy 😅 as regards to you moving back to your parents, you could think that it is a stepback or a not so adult thing to do but in reality its the most adult thing you can do. because you go back, save the money and buy your own place. otherwise you would just spend all you got on rent and stuck there. which wouldnt make sense. you gotta do what you gotta do, use your assets and move forward. and doing that takes courage and humility. and i respect people with humility for they are the most powerful. i respect you a lot.

You're still really young buddy. Very few people your age have the means to go and buy, or even rent, their own place. Make the most of it... Enjoy life, try to save a bit and in time you can move out when you're ready. Top bloke - enjoy the van adventures! 👍👍👍

Make sure you pat the squid dry before you put it through the dipping station. The excess moisture/naked spots you didn't cover on the squid is what causes the intense spitting you get from the oil; when the water meets the hot oil. Will save you from injury!

Ah yes, I heard you mention in another of your videos, that you were moving back home to live with your parents. A great idea especially with the cost of living at the moment 😱. Plus, makes perfect sense with you planning on travelling in your van and gives you chance to save up mega ££££££s for the future. I was reading a newspaper article the other day, advising people what to do if they came across a swarm of bees and I immediately thought about your great video when your bees swarmed 🐝 🐝 🐝

Go camping in the van to Scotland and enjoy it. Have a jotter where you can put all your requirements for the future van build. Think twice about it. Prepare everything and plan it out. Do the van build in the winter months once you have minimised it all down and seen what you DO need and what you DON'T. Ready for 2023 travels abroad. It works for me and I've been doing it for years like that. You'd be surprised at the amount you can do without. It all fits into one small box. PC/Phone/toilet bag/knife and fork and spoon/Cuttlery - then one bag of clothes with a towel and a bed. A solar fan and a solar shower and you're up and running. Do paint the roof white and get ventilation though if you're going anywhere hot. Black vans cook in the summer. Oh: And I have a cool box with an extra car battery if I'm living away for more than a week + 5 litre clean water supply and a portable "bog" for emergencies. Cheers.

1. That squid Was not in a cooling bag? Fresh seafood? 2. Don't water plants in the boiling Sun. wait for the evening or do it in the morning. the water Drops can be work as a lens and burn the plants. And there are some plants who loves being watered at their feet and not from the top. Ask your dad about it. It is a wise decision to go back to your parents. As far as i could see in the Videos they are really cool parents and did a great Job raising you and your brother Carlito.😂😂
