Your work on the cabinets is stunning work. Can i ask you how much the stick on tiles were and where did you get them if its not to rude to ask. The van is so homely great work.

Thank you! The cabinets took absolutely ages to be fair 😅. The stick on tiles were around £40 per pack and a pack only covers around 0.8m squared. So pretty expensive! But they’re relatively easy to work with, lightweight and there’s no danger of them falling off or cracking. We ordered one pack off Amazon and the second we were lucky enough to find 2nd hand on eBay for half the price. Hope that helps 😉

What is the length of your van? And what’s the weight capacity?

It’s a long wheel base so just under 7 metres and it’s a 3.5 tonne capacity. We’re going to do a video on the weight and dimensions and weight saving tips etc at some stage so keep a lookout for that 😊

It’s got everything: security, WiFi, awesome kitchen with great airflow, full bath, full easy to use closet, huge garage, comfortable workstation, good light and easy to use lighting, plenty of water, snuggly bed that you don’t have to set up and break down, and pet plants that clean the air. This van is genius! I've enjoyed watching many videos of incredible van builds but this could be the best yet. You've thought of everything and more to make this a fully functioning gorgeous home. I prefer the van doors, like you have, opening on the opposite side of North American vans. I also find that usually the designs are more creative in layout and design in European vehicles. I love the kitchen right behind the cab rather than against a long wall. Also the bathroom tucked into that little corner space between the two kitchen counters is a brilliant space saver. The storage you've found in every nook and cranny and the style you've maintained is very impressive! Cheers from Montreal!

I love your van!!! There is only a couple things I saw that wouldn't work for me personally just because I'm a big girl your door to the bathroom is so tiny and the doors to get into the cab from your kitchen. But it's so PERFECT for the two of you!!! I love all the little storage spaces! You guys really did a TERRIFIC job of building the van home!!!! It beautiful!!!!!

OK folks I've seen dozens of theese conversions and this is by far my absolute favorite it's sleek, cheery ,and has every feature I would want in a tiny home the oven and fridge are amazing the shower is perfect the bed is huge and the double wardrobe with 4 drawers and 2 deep cabinets and being able to hang full length clothes and then the amazing couch that is also a table this is so well done it beats anything I've ever seen bravo bravo bravo,!!!you should start your own company doing van conversions I would be the first in line I am so impressed I can't say enough about this conversion its absolutely lovely!!!!And the ventilation with 10 speeds and the fact it even has a garage you couldn't have designed this better to be able to get all this into that size of a van is incredible.

I have seen alot of built outs, do it yourself & professionally done, I'm so impressed with your's!!! All the space you kids have created is unbelievable!!! I have never seen one where the cab has been completely walled up before, genius!!! Plus you have the pass-thru to the cab, I actually thought it was when I first saw it, if you need to bug out in a hurry for some reason, you don't have to get out of your "home" & walk to the cab!!! We have been exploring so many options for temporary living as we travel within UK and Europe. We have considered motorhomes, and van conversions. This is, without doubt one of the best I have seen for many reasons: practicality, space management, cosmetically pleasing, efficiency, comfort, technology, and convenient. Love this immensely. This provides all the solutions we have been looking for. The only renovation project I have physically done myself was a garage conversion into an office. The only things I had to buy in was electrician, plumber, and glazier. A van conversion is a massive project and we will still be working and still running our home so will look forward to watched your phased video collection of the build. Also really liked watching this video for your enthusiasm and the clear joy you portray in it. Fantastic! Congratulations to you both, this really is a fabulous achievement.

Very impressive. Light & airy, very well-built, stylish, practical. This design can very easily be adapted for a larger van that can accommodate an air-conditioning system and a larger garage for bikes, folding or inflatable kayaks and sporting gear etc as well as increased water and battery capacity. The only negative is the sliding drawer table. That imprisons whomever is seated there. A lagoon table can be pushed out of the way if you want to get up.

I've been searching so much for UK van lifers with either transit or sprinter vans that have a bloody bathroom too and finally your video got recommended! This is the ideal layout - I don't know why but other people's vans I've seen seem to struggle to fit everything in - if they have a bathroom they don't have seating area, or if they have a fixed bed the kitchen is smaller. I think it really makes a difference using the behind the driving area as a wall and it's so genius having a little hole to climb through in case of emergency! Definitely going to use this for future reference when building my van (in like 5 years lol)

It’s genuinely quite difficult to fit it all in! I think most people prioritise other stuff as well and many aren’t bothered about having a shower so it’s all about what your individual needs are. Glad you like it though 😀

Very nice van for two. I know a lot of people probably don't use their shower often BUT I think it's a good idea just in case you need too and having a separate place to use the bathroom is essential to me. Most Americans don't use the area by the cab because we don't want to get out of our van or do a crawl through but I think we should consider more ways to use that space. Perhaps, as a split swing door with laundry or trash bin.

Yes the separate bathroom was a deal breaker for us! You’re right about the shower too, it’s more a nice to have than a necessity but we’re glad we opted for it. Someone else mentioned here that closing off the cab is more of a European thing, we weren’t sure whether it had something to do with legalities as well? Glad you like the van 😊

This is the best one I've seen yet - use of space, full bathroom (is the toilet heavy to lift out every time you want to shower?) yet it does not seem like it would be claustrophobic. Also, I'm very much for have a bed right there - not where you have to setup a bed every night and take it down every day. For me I'd need a step stool to get from kitchen to cab but that'd be no problem......❤️ mla

The bathroom is definitely small but we fit in fine so no problems there 😀 And we couldn’t agree more about the bed - just thinking about taking it down every morning and putting it up again each night makes us tired 😅

I’ve watched hundreds of van conversion and a few of them might be the perfect ones to my taste but YOURS IS 100% PERFECT TO ME! The layout, shower, fixed bed and absolutely the wardrobe/closet! Also love the color you chose, looks clean, neat and tidy..you have everything in your van but doesnt feel too crowded and still spacious enough.. I never commented on any videos I watched, but yours is a must. I live in a country where campervans are so unusual and yet one of bucket lists is to travel with a campervan, especially like yours. 10/10 design!! The only thing I would consider investing in, is a special electric saw (or something) in the event someone slips, feints or has a cardiac event in the shower/bathroom, as It seems it would be very difficult to retrieve them through the narrow entry in an emergency. Though it'd be statistically unlikely, when seconds count, its "better to have and not need" etc. Maybe get a stepladder at the back for the same reason.

Great Van! I just could not finish the video cause your music was so much louder then when you guys talked. I kept having to turn the volume up (a lot) every time to talked and turn it down when you didn't. My ears hurt.

Amazed that you not only built it and designed it so charming. I would be selfish and want this to myself. The second bed is like my chaise and would be a favorite spot for me. I love a fixed bed that looks like a real bed, a real awesome job and you seem like a lovely couple

I think this is the best layout I have seen. You have a beautiful van and that was a very slick van tour. The only thing I would change would be the water filler cap to the outside of the van so that you don’t have to have the rear door open. New subscriber 👍

Thank you 😊 We did consider an outside water fill point but decided against it as we weren’t really planning on spending much time in cold/rainy countries so didn’t think having the door open would be an issue. Now we’re stuck in England for the foreseeable, so much for that plan 😆

Brilliant ideas to seal off the cab from the cabin and doubling the countertop space. Also installing back up cam and security cam for the inside. Lastly the full kitchen and bath is tight but oh so handy.

@@TheWholeWorldorNothing It is a great idea, since car thieves now have devices that will mimic the frequency of the key fobs and unlock and start vehicles now. The deadbolts are one more hurdle they need to overcome to break in to your home. (Your van is the first one I've seen with this.)

That's a brilliant design and very well-executed. I never thought I'd see a bulkhead-based design which would rival my own personal favourite (captain's chairs with table behind), but here it is. Your bed is brilliant, as is the sitting/working area in front of it. Shower/toilet also looks very slick. I'm not really a foodie but I can appreciate the big prep area (completely missing from my camper!). Congratulations, you must be completely stoked by the result!
