Must needed at Lucknow Kanpur Suburban Railways. There used to be MEMU Local services every half to one hour on this route before COVID but after COVID, only 3 pairs of MEMU trains are operating on this route, one in morning, second in afternoon and third in evening. This is causing a lot of trouble to Unreserved passengers of Long Distance Express and Superfast trains because daily commuters are choosing those express and already overcrowded train as their travel option. Due to this, neither local passengers are able to travel comfortably nor the passenger of that long distance train. The Lucknow - Unnao - Kanpur Suburban Region is already packed with daily commuters and need more local services. Hope this Vande Metro will allotted to this region and helps the passenger of this section.

But the real question is that how they will check the tickets? unlike metro where ticket is automated, it will be very difficult to check tickets in these crowded vande metro. And we very well know our Jahil junta many of them will not be buying ticket even they can afford it easily.

Vande metro trains should have been there very before for Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. These new train sets should come for all routes in Mumbai that is central, western, harbour and trans harbour lines. Nowadays heat is increasing yearly especially in summer season and rain waters come from door and windows of local trains during monsoon. Vande metro should come early to all cities in India.

Seats look quite uncomfortable. Furthermore, as metro rides are generally for short travel, horizontal seats with little to no standing space will make the ride unnecessarily cramped during rush hours. The circular overhead holds also do not make much sense and are seem designed to crowd people in a round space

This is not for mumbai. Basic requirements of Mumbai local is to have 8 doors per coach to manage rush hour commuters. This train has only 4 doors. So mumbaikars don't be excited. 😅

Awful front nose and poor design by our babu level engineers. Also, if these trains are run for general coach passengers then forget about the maintenance after they start using this train. They literally lack civic sense and will steal and damage the interiors of these trains.

Local emus and memu also have same type arrangement...difference is they are non ac ...just this ... If you rode memu then you will find similarity in seat arrangement...so enough space for standing people ...
