This literally leaves me speechless every time I see it. The amount of talent and coordination it took to synch so well with such a well-chosen song shakes me to the core of my being. I would absolutely say Vander Von Odd is my favorite of all time.

Despite all the jaw-dropping amazing stuff he does on stage, I think this is his best performance. This, to me, is more tear jerking and confrontational than some of the more gritty and violent performances. The song choice, the lights, the reveal… it’s perfect

This has to be one of my favorite performances of all time. 🖤 I can't explain why it speaks to me as much as it does, but Vander, in general, is one of the most brilliant, beautiful souls I've ever seen. I need to see her in person. Also, thank you Nightgowns and Sasha Velour for feeding my soul. 🖤

@Ms.Martie Gallego. Lip Syncing has been done for forever? 🤨....guess what, so has singing 🤷♂️. It amazes me how people are so close minded when it comes to the art of drag, which is the complete opposite of its true essence. Oh the irony. People don't even hear themselves sometimes, the selfishness and lack of empathy for a performer and their craft. Not trying to come for your wig Martie, but news flash, drag wasn't created solely for YOUR entertainment. Yes, queens that sing live are fantastic and just as valid as all other forms of drag, period. I've seen countless live singers from a wide variety of of performance styles, and I can say first hand that just because you can sing doesn't make you a great performer. Vander might not have singing pipes, but what he does possess is the ability to push boundaries, break norms and exude emotion that is visceral. There is a clear vision and message to each performance and he might not sing with his voice, but he sings from his heart. And if you can't hear it, then you aren't listening close enough. Drag performances like this exist to break down walls that people like Ms. Gallego tend to build around artists with brick and mortar made from their own ego. Try to break down those walls and listen with your heart instead of just your ears and you may learn something about other people and more importantly yourself.

It's a mix of animation and a video of the rain on the rhythm of the music. I'll suggest watching some tutorials on how to animate, it's actually not that hard ( :

Very visual ! But do any of them use there own voices ? It is a talent to lip synch, but its been done for ever ! I've always been more entertained by one doing their own singing . just saying !!
@charliez0774 жыл бұрын
Some queens sing, but it really depends, you either got the vocal talent or not. Adore Delano is probably the most accomplished/well-known drag singer/musician, Jinkx Monsoon is great too.
@HikaruCrystal83 жыл бұрын
With all the dancing queens do, good luck trying to find clean vocals that actually spund good lol. there's a reason they can't sing with all that performance they're busy doing
