The layers that envelop this performance are just breathtaking. “Love me”-we as queer people often have a hard time with family and friends. I know I did. I still feel unloved by them actually. To make up for the love we didn’t receive, many of us become promiscuous. “Fuck me”- embrace me and fill the void left from the pain I feel from rejection. Validate me. That’s how I interpreted this performance anyway. And fuck…it’s a lot. Thanks Vander.

this is one of the most mesmerising and stunning performances of theirs. the start they begin as a regular person in others eyes but when they reveal their scars they begin to see them in their eyes and how monsterous the see themself. this is high art and high drag!
