That was a thing for years with Yasuo, that's why I was banning Yasuo 99% of the time, because windwall was tilting and extremely strong if placed at the right time and/or position. But Mel brings it on another level of bs, because it doesn't just remove your ults and other crucial skills from the equation, but reflects it back to you so you're even more screwed... Hi @Vandiril, I think there is some misinterpretation. Based on the Chinese words, her passive executes below a certain HP, either with skills or auto. There is no stacking mechanism involved. At 0:21 the big red eye icon says “Ultimate damage will execute” meaning the big red icon is telling you when your ult will execute. This is why at 1:33 only Ambessa died, cause she was in execute range from ult dmg (based on the big red icon indicator) while the rest with the small yellow cross just took normal damage.

Best case scenario: her abilities don't do too much damage, and she's ment to have more backloaded damage. Get a ton of burns/status effects on multiple people, and her real power comes from the execute. Basically, she wouldn't really have enough damage to proc the execute in one ability rotation, maybe even 2, but with team damage that execute could be what she brings to the table.

When i saw the yt notification that mel became a champ, i tried to come up with abilities based on arcane s2 before watching. My idea to transfer her shield (from *you know which scene* ) into the game was that you can shield allies, or you can "debuff" your opponents with the same ability (like lulu shield), but during the shield time your opponent damages themselves with AAs (maybe even abilities). I think that would have been cooler than this lmao

Yeah, I’m a bit confused at this to be honest… Also, every time she used magic in the show, her magic seemed to be more circular and with the shuriman-esque gold lining. Btw, reflect spell on a basic ability is crazy considering it can reflect a lot of ults and projectiles are aimed automatically. It should have smth like 40s cooldown or more to be balanced. (It wasn't enough so they added an execute).

Not too bad actually. Looks like a lot of fun. Good mind games. As a Sivir Main, I've always enjoyed those "timing specific" i-frame abilities (I can't say "frame precise" because it's not, but you still can't waste it). I've seen myself become a better Sivir than others because I can time my shield well. I look forward to taking that skill to Mel and seeing what I can do. An interesting comparison by reflecting the projectile - someone in the comments mentioned Blitzcrank? If I'm super low and I "reflect" a hook, I may end up pulling Blitz straight to me so he can E-R me. Whoops! Additionally, Sivir's ability protects me from any ability - so if a Sion is charging at me, the shield can block Sion without slowing me, protecting my team and me from a potentially dangerous engage. How would Mel W react to Sion Ult? Probably no different if she just took it normally, right? So there's some interesting differences to explore. I hope the passive isn't as bad as it seems. To just ignore 1/6th enemy max health is probably fine, but idk if she needs that.
