I come across many videos in you tube speaking about building up confidence. But truly she cracks it all with such wonderful presentation skills and I haven't come across such a person who speaks so naturally and with ease. With each word this video carries that energy reaching its subscribers an amazing level of confidence! May be because she really does mean every word she says instead of thinking it just a subject or topic and do this with all passion inside her, to motivate others! Thanks much!!

#1 Look like a winner. Take up more space, claim territory, hold your head high, open your chest, loose your arms, roll your shoulders back and low, stand tall. Avoid looking like a loser, don't slouch, don't put your chin to your chest, don't turtle, don't lower your head, don't cross your arms, don't round or lift your shoulders tensly. #2 Have a confident, powerful voice. Don't answer the phone in a bad mood. Talk with happy and authoritative voice. #3 Add meaning to your day and career. Happiness and confidence go hand in hand. Find out, write and showcase visibly your mission statement. Make a success folder in your computer. #4 Walk in a relaxed way. #5 Choose a confidence role model. It's not about being the most bubbly, extrovert person. #6 Boost your inspiration and motivation. Create a KZbin playlist anytime you need a boost. #7 Overcome imposter syndrome. This syndrome is about feeling undeserving of our accomplishments. Have a motivating self talk. #8 Treat social anxiety. Look for CBT therapy. #9 Program your thoughts. It's impossible to feel confident without having confident thoughts. What are the stories and self truth you tell yourself in your head? Where do they come from? Dig deeper and ask yourself if your beliefs are objectively true or subjective ones. Go through your 3 biggest limiting beliefs and ask yourself if they're actually true or absorbed from negative environment. #8 Limit social media consumption.

Standing on a ladder, while your hanging up your own poster (looking amazingly better in person btw.), high upon a light post on the pavement, with an aide dude next to you on another ladder, being greeted by someone you haven't seen in 32 years, who's actually just stopping to give you the opportunity for an in-person scolding? What's that resulting in? Being Overly confident, or vulnerable?? Asking for a friend, seriously. :D

I’m slowly growing my confidence and am still seeking a bigger boost in confidence. I have done things that push my comfort zone, like travel alone and forward focused mindsets. Today, I plan to go out in public and take pictures of myself (both for my blog and my comfort level). I can’t always rely on other to go with me on trips or to take photos or to help me actually get a job so I have to keep learning to do things solo. Before the summer ends, I also plan to go skydiving 😊

I think the important thing to seem confident is to believe that you are confident ,you have to keep repeating this idea in your head. say i am confiedent and i can do whatever is in front of me that's how people believe it.
@msinbalony4 жыл бұрын
Excuse me, I'm confident enough to answer the phone being sad or upset too. I'm not here to entertain anyone. I'm just being me and I'm allowed to be complex and have a range of human emotions, and if anyone has a problem with that they can move along. This is what I don't like sometimes about American culture and why they seem so fake sometimes. Just smile and look happy and you're good.. we'll like you. I deserve to be liked in all my aspects.

I watched a TED Talk about "power posing", which has been shown to physiologically boost confidence. Essentially, powerful, confident people have a certain body language, and if you imitate that body language (especially before a meeting, presentation, etc.) you will be more confident. Powerful poses are arms stretched out, shoulders back, chest puffed out, etc. (using your mobile phone gives you a non-confident posture). Condensed version of that TED Talk with Amy Cuddy: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGjHiKaAYtJ4r6s

WOOWWW!!! I just realized I probably have imposter syndrome with dating women! I have always felt like my gayness was really suppressed and so when I did start to date women I felt like I didn't deserve something that good and if someone I like did get to really know me they wouldn't like me anymore. Absolutely! Confidence is like a muscle-it gets stronger with practice. I learned this the hard way, especially through the "look confident" tip! I used to slouch and instantly felt less capable. Then, I started standing tall, shoulders back, and boom-felt more powerful instantly. It’s like a life hack for your mindset! And don't forget to smile when you speak-it makes a huge difference. The Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x also helps boost my confidence in stressful situations. Keep practicing, and soon, you'll radiate confidence too! You've got this!

Great tips. I've heard many of them in various forms over the years. Something I would add from my experience, is to take care of your physical health in a serious way. Okay so I thought I'd throw this idea out there, something I'm trying is while standing or walking tuck my thumbs into the corner of my back pockets, this pulls my shoulders back and broadens my chest. The idea being after awhile of doing this my shoulders and chest will do that naturally(muscle memory).
