he started singing during his puberty hence why his voice was very raspy and squeaky at times. but he constantly trained and by the time it was over his voice got very ''fancy'' and deep. also if you listen to his early stuff with AM he was constantly shouting to cover up the voice cracking but now he sings jazzier and blues and low notes because his voice doesn't crack anymore you can hear the difference if you just listen to his first album with AM and compare it to his latest work. best 2 songs to compare is: from ritz to rubbles (first AM album) to sweet dreams, TN (TLSP album)

Although some idiots hates on him because he is not the shy indie rocker anymore, what Alex Turner has done for music in the past 10 years is amazing. One of the best musicians out there right now, along with Kevin Parker and Josh Homme. Solid career with Arctic Monkeys and The Last Shadow Puppets, genius lyricist, outstanding composer and singer, an overall good guitar player and not lazy at all; He is constantly releasing songs. Without a doubt a future legend. I'm proud of him :)

Don't get why people only seem to notice/praise Alex in this duo act. Alex is absolutely brilliant but Miles has been nothing short of an equal partner, he has the grit, the style, the charisma, the chaotic rock n roll funkyness, and a very unique lennon-esque voice. He brings a darker psychedelic influence to the act's songwritings that makes these records so stunningly different from AM. He deserves more appreciation and love, I mean even Alex Turner worships him!

Probly toyed around with contrast, saturation, and maybe noise in the camera settings, fairly simple to make, the only thing really necessary and special are the halogen lights, good bright lightbulbs in the right place and angle, otherwise it would end up looking fuzzy, ugly and cheap
