I really like the Battleship League! Shame that the games damage model and stuff seems quite wonky still, otherwise we might be able to settle some questions once and for all... Yeah, who am I kidding, people would still argue, but it would nevertheless be neat

I'm a big fan of Vanguard historically. Even if she hasn't performed well in this game (not surprised given what happened to KGV, I expected British ships in this game to underperform after that point) I think when used to her strengths she was extremely strong, despite what some people online say. So that's nice

I don't understand why the plan for each of these is just to charge in and fight at point blank range... Not a very good assessment of how the ships would have fought in real life.

I mean Hood has to get close to fight the Bismarck in order to avoid plunging fire although her crews miss calculated the plunging fire.

None of these games or sims ever have the fume extractor pushing the smoke out of the barrel after a shot. That would be a nice detail!

This division has gone by so fast, only one video remains. Three ships remain in contention - can an American ship defeat Yamato, or will she cruise into victory? Ship ranking: 1. Don't think we were watching the same matches? Same format as every Vanguard fight. Human control used to it's strength, Vanguard wins. AI control, Vanguard gets hammered. Did find it ironic calling out "World of Warships BS" considering how many game issues this league has uncovered.

I was going to say that Vanguard forces tiebreakers but I think every match has required tiebreakers.

I believe that Yamato accuracy problems are rooted in a rate of fire. She gets the range twice as slowly compared to other ships. And then if hitted start losing it from damage. And from a game perspective I'd give her a stereoscopic range finder, to give her a long range accuracy bonus. But history is a heartless b***ch. )

Her guns are much much worse than they should be, UAD seriously nerfs any guns over 16” (12” guns are the apex of accuracy, and 15/16 is ok given the damage boost)

i think vanguard would have defeated yamato one on the fire control and radar was far superior thats just as important as size of guns

The game is so broke at this point that it’s not even fun to watch anymore. Stealth called it correctly. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I considered buying it until I watched a few videos and read some reviews. The impression that I have is that the game will never leave the development stage. That's a real shame.

Vanguard is losing purely because of bad AI if the AI had the intelligence to fight the ship properly it would have easily have beaten both Yamato and Bismarck especially as Yamato should never be able to close on Vanguard

@@bulletligh in real life without any refits, vanguard should have an advantage at long range given Vanguard was built in the mid 40's and lived into the mid 50's compared to Bismarck which had sunk by the time Vanguard was laid down no?

Bismarck vs Vanguard yes Vanguard would have the advantage but not a huge advantage unless the weather is bad. Vanguard vs Yamato? not a chance unless again the weather is bad. Even the Iowas were not really a match for Yamato without favorable weather conditions or a night battle. but yes... both the Iowas and Vanguard could just run away, but this isnt about who can run away its about who would win a fight. The ranking for these ships going just on there stats should be for a clear weather daytime fight are Yamato, Iowa, Vanguard, Bismarck.
