I love how this terrifying concept has such a sweet undertone to it. We’ve all seen Toy Story we know what happens to a toy’s psyche when they’re abandoned and/or broken up. Nobody deserves that! And what’s the harm with playing pretend every once in a while with someone who really just needs a friend? Honestly if I was the listener I would just want her to piggyback on my shoulders and carry her around everywhere. You know, allow her to be close while fulfilling that want she has for physical touch.

I said it before and I'll say it again, the voice range is absolutely astonishing. Unless I have poor hearing, I almost didn't recognize you until I re-checked the channel name. Even then, I was still in disbelief, considering this the first time I've heard your pitch and tone go up this high. Seriously, you have a talent that many are missing out on!

I appreciate that! But full disclosure: while my voice _can_ go this high, I can't sustain it for long, so this has been "sweetened" by pitching up by a couple percentage points to smooth out the imperfections and give it a more unreal, doll like quality. (I recorded this audio in two sessions, and the second half of the performance wound up higher than the first, so I also had to do some finagling to make sure everything matched.) I don't usually like to use editing like that because it feels like cheating, so on the rare occasions I do artificially alter my pitch I try to stay within the range of what I can actually do. So like, 2%-4% up or down is the limit...though I have gone as high as 6% for the lulz. ^^;

In my life in the Vanilla-Velvet-Verse (The V3), I've been dealt with a super wholesome yandere who ended up giving me money and support, was destroyed and resurrected by a yandere, had a sassy wife lovingly demand I stop wasting time and go to bed, got tied up because a yandere mom wanted me to date her tsundere daughter, had a lamia who refused to leave me alone, had my wife split into multiple personas of herself, helped a recovering yandere, AND EVEN ended up being stuck at a diner booth by an employee who refused to let me leave until I finished my drink...and kept refilling it! Restoration and toy customization can definitely be big business, especially if you frequent conventions. I don't have any experience with it myself, but I know there are folks out there who change like $3k per piece they refurbish/customize and have "doll hospitals" where they do basic repairs on toys for $50 a pop. Seems you can monetize almost any skill/interest nowadays, thanks to the internet. I think that's pretty cool, actually.

I do accept script and idea submissions! I have a form for that, actually. Link in my bio! (And, I try to fill requests for Patrons via an exclusive request post on Patreon.) But, obviously I can’t guarantee to perform something. ^^; Filling a script depends on a lot of factors. This is long, but I wanted to be thorough! *Practical reasons I might not perform something...* - If the writer is underage, I can’t do it due to legal considerations. (Be honest about this with VAs, it puts our entire channels in danger if you aren’t. Getting an audio you want is not worth ending a VA’s career.) - If a script would be 1-10 minutes of finished audio, the algorithm will bury it. :( - If it’s a sequel to someone else’s work written without their permission, that would be unethical. - If it’s a direct beat-for-beat ripoff of someone else’s work, that would also be unethical. (Using similar themes/archetypes is fine, especially with credit!) - If its themes break or skirt platform guidelines, I’m not going to risk my channel for it. There are a lot of No-Nos that I have zero control over, unfortunately. I won’t monetize an audio in an established universe, and I’d be risking a Cease and Desist besides, so it’s an iffy proposition. “Inspired by” is fine, of course! - I prefer to make F4A content, so if a script is limited by gender, it has to be really good for me to even consider it. Don’t be discouraged, though! I know this seems like a lot of limits, but it’s kind of the reality of making audios if you want to be ethical, avoid trouble, and make good stuff. I’m careful, and I think it’s part of why I’ve found some measure of success and never gotten any KZbin warnings/demonetized.

Jesters are okay with me! As for the other stuff: a legal adult would be at least 18, since I'm in the US, but if you're from a place with a higher age of majority, then that would be the hard limit. (So like, if you're from Mississippi, you'd have to be at least 21 for me to perform a script you wrote because that's the legal adult age.) Short version for why: minors can't enter into binding agreements legally - and giving a VA permission to perform a script/post the resulting audio to make money from it is a form of contract. A casual one I'll grant you, nobody signs anything officially to protect all parties' anonymity, but it IS a contract. And god help a VA if a minor submits something explicit and tries to pretend they're an adult when doing so. No (trustworthy!) content creator wants to perform something like that for someone underage, and doing so - even without knowing! - can get the VA in life-altering legal trouble. That's why it's SO important to respect such an age limit. It protects everyone involved from exploitation and legal harm. Some minors don't take that into account, unfortunately, not realizing (or not caring!) that if a VA performs a script written by them, the VA may have to take it down forever and/or be on the hook in a way that can ruin lives. So. Yeah. I can't emphasize enough how important that rule is. ^^ Also, just FYI, 100-120 words = 1 minute of finished audio. So to be absolutely certain to hit that 10+ minute mark, a script needs to be at least 1200 words. That's just spoken dialogue, not counting sound/performance direction, script formatting, etc. Keep that in mind if you do decide to write something!
