Hi guys, just discovered this channel so looks like I have to binge watch quite a few rofl. I hope that since you are in SA you go to the other side wherre the waves are very surfable lol.

Just a idea, if you get another front roof rack bar. You get bolts welded on. Or bolted, then a cheap tarp, a few poles and pegs and ropes, you now have a awning.

Hey, great to see where I grew up near Pt Willunga looking so good! should be an ad for SA tourism. Sorry you had to go surf at Dribbleton beach. The mid coast near Pt Willunga has better reef setups but not much swell! If you head to Yorke Peninsular there are some great camp ground is Innes National Park and amazing waves!
@KendallandGlenn4 жыл бұрын
Aw thanks Matt! We’ve been eyeing the coast from Southport to Sellicks trying to find some waves but haven’t had much luck lately. Definitely going to check out Innes NP for sure! Thanks so much for the recs!
@Ford_TImelord4 жыл бұрын
@@KendallandGlenn No Problem at all! The mid coast gets very crowded. Victor Harbor area is more consistent for swell but relies on sandbanks. There are plenty of waves in SA but it always involves so much driving! I'm enjoying your travels from the Melbourne lockdown.
@KendallandGlenn4 жыл бұрын
@@Ford_TImelord haha yeah we've noticed that we're always driving around to wherever the best chance of waves would be! We were spoilt on the east coast with those consistent point breaks. Thanks so much for all of these recs! We hope lockdown has been okay, and that things seem to settle and open up a bit more soon.

The old van given me time to just do what I want. Still hole here or there. Fit what I want. Try it out. Then when time comes I know. Big bus, keep away. You get injured, who can drive it. Where a 4x4 and van then anyone can move. Also check out trip in a van. They carry swags, then leave the van when rough, and off you go.

Looking at wild touring van. Small and easy. Keep it simple. Small will get you places and a van small for a travel home. Some roads will not let dual axle.
