I also liked when you talked about the independence of van lifers and that it can feel nice just being in a rig next to someone and that you don't have to feel like you always need to engage in lengthy conversation, even if you're both outdoors. It really is just like sticks and bricks, reminding me of growing up in a small town and neighbors might be outside the same time we were ...and, at times we'd walk both over to the short chain link fence and chat it up for a while, and other times, just a "hello neighbor!'" mixed with a few nice words as we then carried about our days outdoors. I too am a purple girl….most of my wardrobe is purple shades, I had purple couches for my house, my hair has been shades of purples and plums for 7 years (back to my normal blonde color now), my Kia Soul is wrapped purple with shiny flakes in it, I’m working on wall art for my living room which has purples in them cause of course the walls are light purple!…..I would breathe purple if I could….lol! Hi Lulu this is for your friend,just my idea,take out the passenger seat at the front, use there for a fridge ,put solar panel on top of the van ,put it in a way that they are not visible ,so when the seat is removed ,put your cooking stove aganist the door where the window is located so when she is ready to cook she can open the wondow for ventalion,then the sink near the stove,then storage containers (for groceries) near the sink,then more storage containers for clothing ,all this will take place on the fight side of the van ,the on the left hand side of the van where she enter ( that's on the driver side) she can build a wooden bed high enough so the base or bottom can be use for storage ,but the bed can be built with a flap at the entrance ,so in the day time the flap will be at the top of the remaining bed, when time to sleep she have to put down the flap for bed mood

You can start with day trips right around where you live. I explored many parks around my county at first. Places I’d never been before but were very close to home. There are several nearby waterfalls where I live that I’d never seen Then I found a few local campgrounds to spend a couple nights. Once I realized I could comfortably sleep in the car I was on my way! Go at your own pace, learn as you go. There’s no right or wrong way and the time is right when you say it is.

I personally don’t like the color purple for my Decour or outfits, but I tell you what, Renee’ rocks the color!😊 Thanks for bringing us along in conversation of your current events . They sound so fun and freeing. It won’t be long I feel before I’m able to take longer trips. Right now I am only out for two weeks at a time in my homemade truck camper.
