Vanna White wants to 'walk’ from Wheel of Fortune contract: ‘She doesn’t jibe with Ryan Seacrest’

Despite their united front in recent promos for Season 42, Vanna has privately expressed doubts about working with new co-host Ryan Seacrest and is even considering ending her contract early. According to an insider, Vanna feels she might walk away sooner because she reportedly doesn't connect with Ryan like she did with Pat. She knows a younger female host might be better suited to appeal to a new demographic. Vanna and Ryan have already filmed two episodes, and Season 42 will debut in September 2024.

Vanna should have left the show along with Pat Sajak. It would have been a better way to go and a "new" show could have sprouted. I think it will be awkward to see her with Ryan. I don't like Ryan Seacrest and never have. He just gets under my skin.

Something like this happened when Chuck Woolery left though, He and Susan Stafford had amazing chemistry, when he left Pat and Susan were okay but it was definitely not the same, She ended up leaving after a year for unrelated reasons. So maybe this is all just history repeating. To be fair you can't compare 40+ years together to a couple of shows, it will be an adjustment and it'll take time.

Ryan Seacrest is boring. The new set is too busy, and the camera switches too often that it makes it hard to follow the puzzle and play along. Just cancel the show. It was great while it lasted!
