Just ordered this as an upgrade to my 8 year old carrier. Nothing wrong with my old one though. Ran AR500 plates in it for years and its held up. Upgraded to lighter but thicker poly plates and need a little more room and a little less weight. Damn getting old sucks.

Nice setup. Curious as for soft and hard armor options. Can you wear both hard and soft armor or does this system only except one or the other at any given time? For a lot of us, we're not allowed to use aftermarket options if they don't allow us to use both in conjunction for overall safety and protection.

On this carrier it's one or the other. You could buy an ESAPI/Swimmers/Shooters cut soft armor and hard armor and wear them both that way. But it doesn't accept your typical soft armor (BALCS/SPEAR) cut.

@@CondorOutdoor Good to know. We use ESAPI plates so I would like to have something that's interchangeable. What about side soft armor panels in conjunction with side plates and what size soft armor panels fit in the cummerbund?

@@xdejablu3x On this PC 6x10 soft armor fit in the cummerbund and if you would like to add Hard Plates you would need the VAS side plate insert.

This carrier can accept medium size SAPI (9.5" x 12.5") or large size SAPI(10" x 13")

Why Condor is not giving New chest Rig models, Not everyone wants Plate Carries, We want new side loading Rigs so we can laydown Without Problem.

Could just use a battle belt and shoulder harness with molle pouches if you wanted to go that route. Or use a low vis vest with side pouches and run it without plates. That style setup has been available since the Vietnam war, minus the molle of course.

Just take the plates out first. Then the whole thing is flexible and easy to weave.

You should have made the communication straps on the shoulders much longer... It's ridiculous that they only have a grab of approximately a quarter of an inch to a maximum of half inch. Should have been designed as a wraparound system that way we could just fold it over and then tape over..
