a lot of people seem to be complaining that it wont last long, but if you never tried, you can't say anything.(I would hope people think like this but nonono) honestly its how and what glue you use. you use the right stuff, it'll stay. ---- I would love to make two, paint my shoes galaxy and normal platforms(the black rubber to cover the platform), and pastel shoes with black rubber and lace on top of the rubber *w* and if it didn't last long, at least i didn't pay 100$ to get them

@RandomnessLivesHere i don't think so? unless you walk unevenly on both feet they would wear out the same as any other shoes. i haven't had any issues.

i tried this project out it worked really well and they re pretty comfortable i only problem i had was that my vans were really old so the edge didnt line up the best but the project was still successful

I've used a lot of E6000 glue but is it really strong enough for shoes that someone might wear a lot. I have headphones that have jewels glue on them with E6000 and some of them have started falling off already.

I just watched a few videos with this DIY idea I just loooove it. But I think if you really plan on wearing these frequently and outside when its raining or something I would use some better glue and materials , maybe especially made for shoes so that they wouldnt fall apart when you are walking on them :D But overall really awesome :) !!!
