You should mention that the trimming line can be advanced manually by pressing on the line release button on the side of the spool and pulling on the line to bring it further out of the housing when it wears down.

You can also advance string by pushing the little button under the 2 releases with arrows on them and it will click the string out manually

Nice video. Somehow my new hyper tough is tangling the string deep underneath the spool and wrapping around so I have to keep stopping, unwrapping it. Any tips because it cuts good once I’m able to use it a while so I hate to return it

It’s possible the string gets too long. There should be a blade on the string guard to cut the line. This is just one possible solution.

The curl is pretty common. One thing I’d like to suggest is to be sure the string is wrapped on the spool in the correct direction. And to wrap it smoothly like a spool of thread is wrapped smoothly. And keep it as tight as you can when installing the spool into the head.

Perhaps one of those echo trimmer heads will help with the curled line tangling? Also seems like trimming pattern of side to side back and forth might prevent the curling some rather than staying in one spot too long

This trimmer takes the small line which will not knock down grass as well as a bigger line. You can find a bigger trimmer that will allow you to replace the string head with better attachments. There is a new product on the market called indestructible weed eater head. I want to get one and review it. My brother has one and loves it. No more string to worry with. 👍😁

Good luck. It sounds to me like it may be wound up in the wrong direction if it keeps breaking and not feeding. But I’m my experience it could possibly be wrapped too tight or not tight enough. Just put adequate tension when winding it up.

You can’t remove the head. You can totally disassemble the head assembly. Just remove the screws. I advise you to video the process so you can refer back when re assembling I would make a video for you but I sold mine.
