1:21 Underrated sad moment. Edit: For those that don't know Star Fox lore, Peppy was close friends with James McCloud. They were members of the original Star Fox team along with Pigma. They were both captured by Andross when Pigma betrayed them leading them into a trap. Peppy barely managed to escape, leaving James behind. It was the last time he was ever seen, ultimately leading to him being pronounced dead. It's the biggest regret of Peppy's life.

His belonging in this world eases the strain on the universe so that it may rest and bring peace to itself. The two beings depicted are unimaginably powerful and if one were to manifest next to another, the results would be disastrous in the tangible plane, but here... in this world... all that is felt is peace and serenity.

it looks like the author itself probably didn't initiate the claim, it was an agency bot, it's supposed to help prevent uploads without permission from getting ad money on it; however, unless it gets an exemption list, it claims anything that sounds like it. Unfortunately this gets abused by samplers with old popular melodies like Tetris type A, their agencies don't even have an exemption list for the original, so playing the gameboy tetris on YT now will get it claimed by like 1 of 3 remix samplers, it'll just claim a random 10 seconds of the song sometimes.

Without even animating Fox or giving him any kind of expression at all, Jeremy still manages to make him look so devastated and...empty, after Krystal leaves. This hits me very hard, and yet it's one of the few videos on KZbin that helps me feel what I need to feel. Thanks Jeremy.

man, the story of what happened to the starfox series really feels like a tragedy, it got a bit rocky but i thought they were really going somewhere, n64 was solid, adventure was... unique (really all it did was introduce krystal and sauria), assault was flawed but good and showed glimpses of a really good story-driven path the series could have took along with along with trying to innovate on the series, then command came out, screwed over the series, and left it a mere nothing after zero, krystal admittedly could have been developed more as a character (a lot of her personality was just being fox's gf), but it did really feel, somewhat, like there was something special going on. she really felt like a mishandled character that could have been something amazing, but instead of that, her character (much like everything else in the series) was unceremoniously destroyed in command, and we never heard a word of her since, and I feel like like she also represents something larger about the series as a whole: showed glimpses of being something really special, and then shot down before it could really take off, doomed to become little more than a footnote in nintendo's history having never been as great as it could have been, which always keeps me up at night thinking about what starfox never truly achieved. Unfortunately, the fanbase is, not only dwindling, but incredibly split, people either want to see more story focused games while others want starfox 64 again, krystal is on every purists hitlist for being introduced in the series right before sales started dropping and a vocal amount of her fanbase are the kind of people who act like they seriously believe an anime girl is their wife, and nintendo dont seem to give a damn about giving us a good starfox game that expands the story in a satisfying manner, we WON'T see the dream sequel to assault and there will NEVER BE the open world mercenary experience with great characters because the games will either way be slammed by a part of the fandom, be a gimmicky mess, another starfox n64, or wont even get made at all. anyways, starfox is old money, I doubt a major release would even rake in much cash, I just wanna see what happens with fox, krystal and the rest of the team, shame it seems they will forever remain MIA, presumed dead, the franchise having gone out with all the grace of a car hitting a dog in the middle of the road.

So in a Stars Wars Tabletop game I play as this lil Bunny Jedi named Peppy Cloudrunner. The way I play him is how I imagine how Peppy was in his younger days. Basically a sarcastic jerk with a heart of gold....except a drunkard. He's not a typical jedi, infact after the order fell in order 66 he decided to start a new Jedi Order. But in our last session his fellow padawan he grew up with was mortally wounded. The player who plays him might quite the game for family issues. So if his character succumbs to his injuries and die I decided to make it like James and Peppy.

I know it's silly, getting emotional over a silly Star Fox animation, but this truly sent me into a trance. I remember watching this in middle school and it's been a year since I graduated high school. My life had been in shambles for a long while but watching this just, sent me back when life was bliss. 1:59 My favourite moment For those who don't know much about Star Fox. The blue fox is a girl called Krystal, she appeared in Starfox Adventures (a both loved and hated game). Fox saved her and she joined the team, they quickly fell in love. Unfortunately it wouldn't last long, Fox grew cold, sour and toxic, and fearing he would lose her he kicked her out of the team. This made her resent him profoundly. There is no canon end but in my opinion the best one is where they get together, both leave behind the hate and choose to love instead, and from that love is born a boy called Marcus McCloud.

Man, this song. I like this song. I like how it sounds, but more importantly, I like the visuals of this video too. And combined with both, I always go into this deep thought when I look at Peppy. The voice actor for this character was a true legend. He has gone through it all. He went to college, he served in the U.S. Military, but most importantly , he got into voice acting where he infamously voices Peppy and Soldier. It took so much to take this man down. He had a stroke, he had cancer, but none of that stopped him until the day he died. On April 8th, 2020, he died from complications with Covid. He was good, real good, maybe even the best, and he will always live in our hearts and in our video games. 🕊

Something super cool I just noticed. During most of the video, the colors are mainly tinted in red/warm colors. But that is totally replaced by blue when Krystal shows up! It's kinda like how Krysal completely takes over Fox's attention, but also is kinda like how Fox doesn't quite belong in that world. And when Krystal leaves, the world shifts back to that red hue! It's sad... and I still have feelings for him for the past 3 years. I did see him during spring break and it seems like he still likes me but I'm not so sure.
