VAR Explained

The team at each game in France between 7 June - 7 July consists of the video assistant referee (VAR) and his/her two assistant video assistant referees (AVARs). All of them are top FIFA match officials.
27 referees and 47 assistant referees, representing 42 different countries were selected for the #FIFAWWC. Ten of the fifteen selected video match officials were VARs or referees at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™.

Football is best when it has the minimum of stoppages, not the maximum and on balance, there has a much publicised 'improvement', but at what cost?

@@vanessawright293 yes, very true, Football is best when it has the minimum of stoppages, but the point to be noted here is, VAR never intervenes on its own, its the shirt pulling, hair gripping, knee & elbow showing that needs to be stopped for players, which was delayed in football for long time. Its these malpractices, which makes the game stop. I don't think you would or any other game lover would want to see these and many more wrong practices being done to your star players, or even just to turn the fate of the game. This was my first point, & reply for your game stopping question. . Now, my second point regarding VAR, what i read from all the blaming of VAR, was that people were blaming wrong decisions, & decisions are made by referees, not VAR, people just didn't know who to blame, & since VAR was implemented first time, all hate was poured to VAR & not the real perpetrator. . I hope my reply had cleared all your doubts, and i hope you clear all the doubts of people who are less informed around you... . that's the only return favor i want.
