I like your idea of Quaritch teaming up with the ash people to help him take down Jake and his family but I think they are helping him because he is giving them guns and RDA weapons that the ash people might want to kill things better so basically it’s a give and take team up Quaritch gives Varang guns and RDA weapons to help her with her quest and Varang gives Quaritch a army to help him on his kill Jake quest

@ basically fight fire with fire Jake has a clan beside him now Quaritch has one beside him just with guns I bet that Quaritch and Varang basically almost wins but Quaritch either spider convinces him to stop being bad or Varang does something really bad and goes to far making Quaritch question himself either way I hope he doesn’t get killed off and stops being a bad guy and become a good father to his son

The Ash Clan teaming up with Quaritch to replace the Recombs he lost is my guess. They’re disconnected from Eywa because of where they reside and have a fascination with human tech even if they don’t quite adore humans as a whole.

One of my theories is that Spider may possibly Join/Surrender to Quaritch/Ash clan as he could be forced out by Neytiri/Jake etc once they learn he saved Him. This could spark a brief conflictions between loyalty to Jake plus his bond with Kiri & His bond with his father. But he ultimately decides to stay with Jake and the rest.

Varang’s mount looks like a bastardized version of the Toruk from the original movie. Nearly as flamboyant yet not quite. Thanks for the updates.

4:39 it also looks to me like the creatures tail has what looks like forked spines on the end. Which looks awesome. Can't wait to see this creature in the film. And then go home and read a full article online about its biology. The science fiction animals and lore in Avatar are honestly my favorite part. Also that is definitely meant to be Quaritch ikran to the right, the pattern is identical. It also appears that the rider(Quaritch most likely) has red war paint on which leads into the fact that he has joined with the ash clan because he wears their colors.

Also this may not be an attack this could be them just arriving. We already saw the WindTraders arriving. This could very well be a meeting of the clans type of situation in which I theorized would happen. Jake invites all the clans come to metkiyina island for a meeting on attacking the humans. The Ash could be invited or not and just show up themselves. It would be cool to see a Navi Political Scene with all the leaders of the clan.

I’m so excited for this movie to come out. I never noticed the background, it is truly fascinating. I do believe the avatar on the right is quaritch, the ikran is so identical. I just hope we don’t loose another main character.
