Varistor volt pe kam karta hai vo 270 ya 280 valt se jyada hota hai to sort ho jata hai or isake age laga huva fuse Jal jata hai or supply volt band ho jata hai. 2.2 kw keliye varistor ke age minimum 10 amp ka fuse lagana padega.

Sir can't we protect just with fuse? Can we use only varister to protect because if varister will fail once, we are unable to know it and no further protection will be there in circuit.
