You don’t because lefties letting you know this breaks there agenda, So chamar vansh historically used to be an Kshatriya community later as time passed most of chamar vansh due to there Karma(act) and situation has became shudra community which has occurred with many communities due to merit based varna system, Later it was time of Islamic invasions of Bhaarat started in late 7th century AD kicked out pf Bhaarat for 500 upcoming years started again regularly from 10th century AD, So when islamic intruders captivated land of Bhaarat and Delhi sultanate came into existence sort of till 11th century as we know of muslims for there great religion and thought process and they exalted hell on Bhaarat and Bhaartiya torture, murder, enslavement, s*x trade, R@pe, Conversion and extortion was there way forward, With that they bought bin vegetarianism in Bhaarat especially for masses and in open society for the first time in Bhaarat’s history, Animal killing, Cow slaughtering was imposed for meat eating and leather work, But no Hindu Sikh Jain Bauddh was ready to do such sin at all, For which these hate mongers gone totally brutal not objectively but also in ideological interests they did Saam Daam Dand Bhed in which this chamar community in that early 12th century came out as first to agree on terms of the invaders to work on animal slaughtering and leather work which was prohibited for so long in Bhaarat due to its negative impact scientifically psychologically culturally and socially, Which is why many communities be it Brahmhan Kshatriya Vaishya or even Shudra boycotted Chamaar Jaati and had negative opinions about them even though state of Hindus doesn’t subscribe to it lawfully, Henceforth Sant Ravidaas happened to born fortunately in that Jaati saw this negativity and division due to invaders it was not caste discrimination or oppression on Chamaar Jaati but social boycott of them just like many Hindus boycott China and muslims bit we are not casteist towards either of them, In similar way a boycott a division created due to invaders, Ravidaas Ji was not happy with it and no one could be, After he became Saint and renowned as Sant Ravidas due to his works in poetry and rest then he taught Hindu Darshan( philosophy ) to the society about importance unity and oneness and that nobody in core or truly is different from each other spiritually then we shouldn’t have hate for each other as a thing because we all are one, So social issues may exist mentally amongst humans we should not hate each other generations after generations, He actually tried to create unity and remove the generational hate, For him one should not hate each other as from core while you may have legitimate issues and differences in acts and acceptance, Chamaar did wrong that is fact but they also did out of compulsion and torture that invaders had exalted upon with, So one should work to remove differences that doesn’t means acceptance of wrong but it also should not go far enough to become hate, Which is both the entities chamaar and other communities should have accepted it which many if did and many did not, Overall it was an social difference issue created by invaders nutrition by pain society facing from invaders and later eroded by an Hindu Saint of Bhakti movement through knowledge of Hindu Darshan, Till that period no caste system or caste discrimination thing was there, Caste was not an part of any discussion at all like later when it actually became issue after 1850s where britishers recognised hurdle and enemy in there conversion and colonialism of Bhaarat which was unity between Hindus leadership of Brahmhans and faith of community and individual towards Hindu Dharma, After which britishers exploited history culture customs economical conditions to create hate & divisions and shaped Bhaarat towards caste system, Which they succeeded much after 1950s before that masses of Bhaarat didnt buy to there imposed crap.

Well vedas rigveda gives definition of four varna, yajurveda mentions definition of chandal and nishadha which is proof of birth based varna system and discrimination, mahabharat has many stories about birth based varna system ( check what " sut" in sutputra karna means) , bhagwat Gita talks about paap yoni etc and says one must do work of varna he was born into no matter how bad he was at it, and never do work of other varna no matter how good he is at it, (bhagwatGita 18:47)....with this context all Gita is actually trying to implement birth based varna system and discrimination out of which caste system originated. So caste discrimination is a religious problem that needs to be addressed.

Caste is invention of Hinduism or sanatan dharma. When people converted to other religions from Hindu eg Sikh, Christianity and Islam their social status didn't change and society didn't forget their caste. That's why you see caste in other religions in india. It's not the case for Muslims and Christians outside india. Main difference between class which you find in almost every feudal society and caste in India is 1. Caste was determined by birth with no social mobility 2. Endogamy no intercaste marriages especially with lower caste or out caste (both are different). 3. No where in the world it was sanctioned by religion like we did. Last anybody who is blaming Muslims or British for caste discrimination is purposefully lying.

वर्ण शब्द "वृञ" धातु से बनता है जिसका मतलब है चयन या वरण करना है । महर्षि मनु कहते हैं- =>शूद्रो ब्राह्मणतामेति ब्राह्मणश्चैति शूद्रताम। क्षत्रियाज्जातमेवं तु विद्याद्वैश्यात्तथैव च। - (मनुस्मृति-10/65) अर्थात- कर्म के अनुसार ब्राह्मण शूद्रता को प्राप्त हो जाता है और शूद्र ब्राह्मणत्व को। इसी प्रकार क्षत्रिय और वैश्य से उत्पन्न संतान भी अन्य वर्णों को प्राप्त हो जाया करती हैं। =>शुचिरुत्कृष्टशुश्रूषूर्मृदुवागनहंकृत: । ब्राह्मणद्याश्रयो नित्यमुत्कृष्टां जातिमश्नुते - (मनुस्मृति- 9/335) अर्थात - शुद्ध-पवित्र, अपने से उत्कृष्ट वर्ण वालों की सेवा करने वाला, मधुरभाषी, अहंकार से रहित, सदा ब्राह्मण आदि तीनों वर्णों की सेवा में संलग्न शूद्र भी उत्तम ब्रह्मजन्म के अतंर्गत दूसरे वर्ण को प्राप्त कर लेता है । * ब्रह्मजन्म से अभिप्राय शिक्षित होने से है। शिक्षित होने को दूसरा जन्म भी कहा गया है । प्राचीन इतिहास में वर्ण परिवर्तन के उदाहरण :-- (1) ऐतरेय ऋषि दास अथवा अपराधी के पुत्र थे । परन्तु उच्च कोटि के ब्राह्मण बने और उन्होंने ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण और ऐतरेय उपनिषद की रचना की । ऋग्वेद को समझने के लिए ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण अतिशय आवश्यक माना जाता है । (2) ऐलूष ऋषि दासी पुत्र थे । जुआरी और हीन चरित्र भी थे । परन्तु बाद में उन्होंने अध्ययन किया और ऋग्वेद पर अनुसन्धान करके अनेक अविष्कार किये । ऋषियों ने उन्हें आमंत्रित कर के आचार्य पद पर आसीन किया । (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण २.१९) (3) सत्यकाम जाबाल गणिका (वेश्या) के पुत्र थे परन्तु वे ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त हुए। (4) राजा दक्ष के पुत्र पृषध शूद्र हो गए थे, प्रायश्चित स्वरुप तपस्या करके उन्होंने मोक्ष प्राप्त किया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.१.१४) अगर उत्तर रामायण की मिलावटी कथा के अनुसार शूद्रों के लिए तपस्या करना मना होता तो पृषध ये कैसे कर पाए? (5) राजा नेदिष्ट के पुत्र नाभाग वैश्य हुए । पुनः इनके कई पुत्रों ने क्षत्रिय वर्ण अपनाया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.१.१३) (6) धृष्ट नाभाग के पुत्र थे परन्तु ब्राह्मण हुए और उनके पुत्र ने क्षत्रिय वर्ण अपनाया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.२.२) (7) आगे उन्हींके वंश में पुनः कुछ ब्राह्मण हुए । (विष्णु पुराण ४.२.२) (9) भागवत के अनुसार राजपुत्र अग्निवेश्य ब्राह्मण हुए । (10) विष्णुपुराण और भागवत के अनुसार रथोतर क्षत्रिय से ब्राह्मण बने । (11) हारित क्षत्रियपुत्र से ब्राह्मण हुए । (विष्णु पुराण ४.३.५) (12) क्षत्रियकुल में जन्में शौनक ने ब्राह्मणत्व प्राप्त किया । (विष्णु पुराण४.८.१) (14) मातंग चांडालपुत्र से ब्राह्मण बने ।(महाभारत, अनु0 3.19) (15) ऋषि पुलस्त्य का पौत्र रावण अपने कर्मों से राक्षस बना । (16) राजा रघु का पुत्र प्रवृद्ध राक्षस हुआ । (17) त्रिशंकु राजा होते हुए भी कर्मों से चांडाल बन गए थे । (18) विश्वामित्र के पुत्रों ने शूद्र वर्ण अपनाया । विश्वामित्र स्वयं क्षत्रिय थे परन्तु बाद उन्होंने ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त किया । (19) विदुर दासी पुत्र थे । तथापि वे ब्राह्मण हुए और उन्होंने हस्तिनापुर साम्राज्य का मंत्री पद सुशोभित किया ।(महाभारत, आदिपर्व100 -101, 135-137) (20) वत्स शूद्र कुल में उत्पन्न होकर भी ऋषि बने । (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण २.१९) (21) कान्यकुज के राजा विश्वरथ राज्य को त्याग कर क्षत्रिय से ब्राह्मण बने और फिर ब्रह्मर्षि का पद प्राप्त किया और ब्रह्मर्षि विश्वामित्र के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए। उनके अनेक पुत्रों में से कुछ क्षत्रिय ही रहे तो कुछ ब्राह्मण बन गये, जो आज कौशिक ब्राह्मण कहाते हैं। (वाल्मीकि रामायण, बालकाण्ड 51-56 अध्याय) (22) चक्रवर्ती क्षत्रिय राजा मनु वैवस्वत का नाभानेदिष्ट नामक पुत्र ब्राह्मण बना (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण 5.14) (23) दीर्घतमा नामक ऋषि के कई पुत्र थे, उनमें से कुछ ब्राह्मण बने तो कुछ क्षत्रिय। उनके वंशजों को ‘वालेय ब्राह्मण’ और ‘वालेय क्षत्रिय’ कहा जाता है। (विष्णुपुराण 4.18 ; भागवत पुराण 9.20) (24) पांचाल-राजा भर्याश्व का एक पुत्र मुद्गल राजा था, जो क्षत्रिय था। बाद में यह और इसके वंशज ब्राह्मण बन गये। इसके वंशज ब्राह्मण आज भी ‘मौद्गल ब्राह्मण’ कहलाते हैं (भागवतपुराण-9.21; वायु पुराण 99.198) (25) वाल्मीकि निन कुल में उत्पन्न हुए, किन्तु वे ब्रह्मर्षि और महाकवि बने। (स्कंद पुराण, वै0 21) (26) सत्यकाम जाबाल अज्ञात कुल का था। वह अपनी सत्यवादिता एवं प्रखर बुद्धि के कारण महान् और प्रसिद्ध ऋषि बना। ( पंचविश ब्राह्मण 8.6.1)

Yes, that's true that in ancient India, Varna was achieved and not ascribed. But, is that the reality today? Today, caste is ascribed but achieved. The level of superiority among the upper caste people (obviously not all, but a majority of them) may vary from region to region, but is everywhere present. When upper caste people talk about equality, with the feeling of superiority at the back of their mind, it is as laughable as when lower caste people talk about equality but clinging on to reservations (not talking of the really deserving ones, but of the ones with good status and financial condition in society). This hatred towards each other may be subtle or very explicit, but it is there, and to stop it, making Bharat a purely market economy is one of the many ways, but the most prominent one. This hatred is mainly because for the greed of government jobs, but when government jobs become very very rare, then this upper caste, lower caste business will vanish within a few generations. Don't carry an upper caste superiority, or lower caste victim card (again, not talking of the really deserving ones), become an asset to the nation. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat Mata ki!!

Yes, Varana, Caste, Jati/Race and tribe all are different. So far as Varna, it was totally rejected by the Constitutional arrangement since its very beginning. So it is irrelevant now. But it is the foreign word Caste which has been most misused by the colonialists and their Macaulay children. They have messed up it with Jati/Race wherever it suited them. But at other places, they used the correct word Race as in the Theory of Martial Races which is still in force. The point is that they always confused the foreign and Non-Indian word Caste with Jati/Race with ulterior motives to divide the people on various grounds.

Sri Aurobindo is a great authority on Yoga in the contemporary world and he wrote many books from a level of consciousness, which is above and beyond mind - including on Gita. He said that "Psychic Being" - a living spark of God (Purusha) - lives within everybody, deep within heart and behind mind and one can by "Sadhna" become aware of its presence, and even identify oneself with IT to make it the master of our work in this life. Now about "Varna" or castes: This Psychic Being lives hidden and behind but it constantly "tries" to have its way (something like "voice of our conscience") in our life on our acts and conduct, which "work" is interfered with and censured by our mind and vital cravings and physical demands (which are lower planes of our consciousness). Now, there comes in our life a balancing of "this voice of our God (Psychic Being) and our interfering mind", which becomes our "propensity", that is, our VARNA or caste. One who always listens to this VOICE in one's acts is a Brahmin and the best of human being - all Rishis and Yogis are Brahmins because they are guided by this VOICE. And, there is gradation in one's life to the lower side (Kshtriya, Vaishy and Shudra) comensurate with the "amount of command" that one's this VOICE exerts on his acts. This interpretation of VARNA by Sri Aurobindo fully accords with Gita, where it says that VARNAS are according to one's conduct. Varna or caste by birth is a distortion, which is patently motivated by self-interests of the so-called "upper castes". Incidently just see the Manusmirti - it says a Brahmin has to live by begging only, he cannot own property, he has to see God in every creature, he has no fear of death etc.

पहले बडे वैज्ञानिक तरीके से बीमार, नव प्रसूता ,नव जात शिशु की देखभाल होती थी ।पहले शौचालय करने बाहर मैदान मे जाते थे तो छुआछूत नही था ।फिर ड्रेनेज सिस्टम की शुरुआत हुई ।जो इस कार्य को करते थे या बहुत लोगों के सम्पर्क में आने का कार्य करते थे उनकी साफ सफाई तक हम उनसे दूर रहते थे ।आज भी जब हम अपने घर का शौचालय साफ करते है या बाहर से आते है तो पहले स्नान करते है फिर कुछ छूते है । ये था तो बडा वैज्ञानिक पर बाद में इस तरह के व्यवसाय से जुडे लोग स्थाई रूप से दूर हो गये ,ये बडी विडम्बना है ।

ऐसा है श्रीमान कि आप सनातन के लिए बहुत अच्छा कर रहे हैं विद्वान भी हैं जाति का अर्थ ही जन्म से होता है आपको समझाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। नहीं मानना है तो जाति मानिए ही मत कौन जबरन मनवा रहा है लेकिन अर्थ का अनर्थ काहे कर रहे हैं। दूसरी बात ये है कि वेद और शास्त्र परंपरा के कारण ही हमें और आपको आज उपलब्ध हैं जो जिनके कारण आप यह प्रवचन दे रहे हैं उनको ही परंपरावादी कह रहे हैं। शास्त्रों की व्याख्या परंपरा प्राप्त आचार्य ही उचित कर सकते हैं आपलोग जिस कार्य मे प्रशिक्षित हैं वही करें तो अच्छा है।

वर्ण शब्द "वृञ" धातु से बनता है जिसका मतलब है चयन या वरण करना है । महर्षि मनु कहते हैं- =>शूद्रो ब्राह्मणतामेति ब्राह्मणश्चैति शूद्रताम। क्षत्रियाज्जातमेवं तु विद्याद्वैश्यात्तथैव च। - (मनुस्मृति-10/65) अर्थात- कर्म के अनुसार ब्राह्मण शूद्रता को प्राप्त हो जाता है और शूद्र ब्राह्मणत्व को। इसी प्रकार क्षत्रिय और वैश्य से उत्पन्न संतान भी अन्य वर्णों को प्राप्त हो जाया करती हैं। =>शुचिरुत्कृष्टशुश्रूषूर्मृदुवागनहंकृत: । ब्राह्मणद्याश्रयो नित्यमुत्कृष्टां जातिमश्नुते - (मनुस्मृति- 9/335) अर्थात - शुद्ध-पवित्र, अपने से उत्कृष्ट वर्ण वालों की सेवा करने वाला, मधुरभाषी, अहंकार से रहित, सदा ब्राह्मण आदि तीनों वर्णों की सेवा में संलग्न शूद्र भी उत्तम ब्रह्मजन्म के अतंर्गत दूसरे वर्ण को प्राप्त कर लेता है । * ब्रह्मजन्म से अभिप्राय शिक्षित होने से है। शिक्षित होने को दूसरा जन्म भी कहा गया है । प्राचीन इतिहास में वर्ण परिवर्तन के उदाहरण :-- (1) ऐतरेय ऋषि दास अथवा अपराधी के पुत्र थे । परन्तु उच्च कोटि के ब्राह्मण बने और उन्होंने ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण और ऐतरेय उपनिषद की रचना की । ऋग्वेद को समझने के लिए ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण अतिशय आवश्यक माना जाता है । (2) ऐलूष ऋषि दासी पुत्र थे । जुआरी और हीन चरित्र भी थे । परन्तु बाद में उन्होंने अध्ययन किया और ऋग्वेद पर अनुसन्धान करके अनेक अविष्कार किये । ऋषियों ने उन्हें आमंत्रित कर के आचार्य पद पर आसीन किया । (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण २.१९) (3) सत्यकाम जाबाल गणिका (वेश्या) के पुत्र थे परन्तु वे ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त हुए। (4) राजा दक्ष के पुत्र पृषध शूद्र हो गए थे, प्रायश्चित स्वरुप तपस्या करके उन्होंने मोक्ष प्राप्त किया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.१.१४) अगर उत्तर रामायण की मिलावटी कथा के अनुसार शूद्रों के लिए तपस्या करना मना होता तो पृषध ये कैसे कर पाए? (5) राजा नेदिष्ट के पुत्र नाभाग वैश्य हुए । पुनः इनके कई पुत्रों ने क्षत्रिय वर्ण अपनाया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.१.१३) (6) धृष्ट नाभाग के पुत्र थे परन्तु ब्राह्मण हुए और उनके पुत्र ने क्षत्रिय वर्ण अपनाया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.२.२) (7) आगे उन्हींके वंश में पुनः कुछ ब्राह्मण हुए । (विष्णु पुराण ४.२.२) (9) भागवत के अनुसार राजपुत्र अग्निवेश्य ब्राह्मण हुए । (10) विष्णुपुराण और भागवत के अनुसार रथोतर क्षत्रिय से ब्राह्मण बने । (11) हारित क्षत्रियपुत्र से ब्राह्मण हुए । (विष्णु पुराण ४.३.५) (12) क्षत्रियकुल में जन्में शौनक ने ब्राह्मणत्व प्राप्त किया । (विष्णु पुराण४.८.१) (14) मातंग चांडालपुत्र से ब्राह्मण बने ।(महाभारत, अनु0 3.19) (15) ऋषि पुलस्त्य का पौत्र रावण अपने कर्मों से राक्षस बना । (16) राजा रघु का पुत्र प्रवृद्ध राक्षस हुआ । (17) त्रिशंकु राजा होते हुए भी कर्मों से चांडाल बन गए थे । (18) विश्वामित्र के पुत्रों ने शूद्र वर्ण अपनाया । विश्वामित्र स्वयं क्षत्रिय थे परन्तु बाद उन्होंने ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त किया । (19) विदुर दासी पुत्र थे । तथापि वे ब्राह्मण हुए और उन्होंने हस्तिनापुर साम्राज्य का मंत्री पद सुशोभित किया ।(महाभारत, आदिपर्व100 -101, 135-137) (20) वत्स शूद्र कुल में उत्पन्न होकर भी ऋषि बने । (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण २.१९) (21) कान्यकुज के राजा विश्वरथ राज्य को त्याग कर क्षत्रिय से ब्राह्मण बने और फिर ब्रह्मर्षि का पद प्राप्त किया और ब्रह्मर्षि विश्वामित्र के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए। उनके अनेक पुत्रों में से कुछ क्षत्रिय ही रहे तो कुछ ब्राह्मण बन गये, जो आज कौशिक ब्राह्मण कहाते हैं। (वाल्मीकि रामायण, बालकाण्ड 51-56 अध्याय) (22) चक्रवर्ती क्षत्रिय राजा मनु वैवस्वत का नाभानेदिष्ट नामक पुत्र ब्राह्मण बना (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण 5.14) (23) दीर्घतमा नामक ऋषि के कई पुत्र थे, उनमें से कुछ ब्राह्मण बने तो कुछ क्षत्रिय। उनके वंशजों को ‘वालेय ब्राह्मण’ और ‘वालेय क्षत्रिय’ कहा जाता है। (विष्णुपुराण 4.18 ; भागवत पुराण 9.20) (24) पांचाल-राजा भर्याश्व का एक पुत्र मुद्गल राजा था, जो क्षत्रिय था। बाद में यह और इसके वंशज ब्राह्मण बन गये। इसके वंशज ब्राह्मण आज भी ‘मौद्गल ब्राह्मण’ कहलाते हैं (भागवतपुराण-9.21; वायु पुराण 99.198) (25) वाल्मीकि निन कुल में उत्पन्न हुए, किन्तु वे ब्रह्मर्षि और महाकवि बने। (स्कंद पुराण, वै0 21) (26) सत्यकाम जाबाल अज्ञात कुल का था। वह अपनी सत्यवादिता एवं प्रखर बुद्धि के कारण महान् और प्रसिद्ध ऋषि बना। ( पंचविश ब्राह्मण 8.6.1)

There are and will be class systems in all societies. But Hindu caste system is unique in a way that their is no mobility among themselves. Neither intermarriages. The discussion is just whitewashing major faults and single most reason for fractured and disunited Hindus who cannot stand against Islamic onslaught. There are ample examples in history. Well this is a sad commentary. Let assume for a second that caste has never been hereditary, even then what would justify the inhuman oppression of the people at the lowest stratum ? Even if it was purely on basis of occupation, what justifies ill-treatment of someone who carries a carcass just because some priest is too pious to touch a dead cow although he drank her body fluids while she lived !! It looks even more sinister if it’s purely based on occupation!!!

Manusmriti doens't mention doing such. You will only find answers if you try to mate, you can't expect an equation to be solved on its own nor you can directly write an answer without doing solution. There are dozens of version of manusmriti in the sub-continent alone. When the British came they researched about Hinduism they had come to know that mughal rulers couldn't turn the Hindu society upside down in four hundred years. For capturing India & properly ruling it, they had to end this societal system hence they attacked the religion they picked the version which suited them best, further more wrongly translated it & then published it on large scale. The main battles British fought against Marathas, they used dalit. It's depressing to see you still believe the white men more then your own thousand year culture.

Present is more important where former caste Hindus are suffering a lot and have lost everything including their caste and may totally disappear in coming one two decades. These said democracies work in this way where racial or Jati or sectarian majorities eat up the miniorities sooner than later. These said democracies are not a dependable way of life either economically or politically.

Vedic scripture models any system in purush form because in our knowledge human form is the best form. So we read purushsukta while puja or shraddha when we offer ball of consecrated rice called pind dan. In purushshukt one sloka reads as under. ब्राह्मणस्य मुखमासीत् बाहु राजन्य कृतः ऊरु ऊर्धस्य तद् बैश्यः पदभ्यां शूद्ः अजायतः। In purush the countenance portion is brahmin, the hands are khatri, the mid torso is vaishya, the legs are the sudra. जन्मना जायते शूद्रः संस्कारात् द्विजः भबति।

In 12th century Maharashtra, there was a great saint Sant Gyaneshwar. He was from a Brahmin family. But his entire family was outcasted by the puritans. They were treated like Dalits. So my takeaway from this is untouchability was irrespective of your caste but it rests entirely on your karma

But Indian constitution and connected cheap vote politics have totally rejected all these notions of Varna system from the very beginning. In has replaced the Varna with Jati/Race, tribe, traditional Hindu Muslim divide etc. As such some Jatis/Races and tribes and sects have got far more superior place as compared to dwindling former Swarn Jatis who are now a forlorn people. In addition to Indian constitution, there are many other dated colonial theories and legislations which are still operating as powerful laws in respect of army recruitment and land ownership in this Modern Indian State. But Macaulay children and paid media and syllabus scholars have always hidden these bare facts for obvious reasons. Nazar aati nahin manzil, Tadpney sey bhee kiya haasil, Takdeer mein ai merey dil, Andherey hi andherey hein, Nazar aati nahin manzil. Jai Shankar, Jai Sri Ram.

Gender Fluidity thus is an advanced form of Varna fluidity. Because at different different times the same person can manifest male and female qualities. Birth has no role. And in current times we also see examples where Males have become Females and then again became Males. It's all good in silos when you are in your bedroom alone. The problem occurs during inter-gender interactions or inter-Varna/Jati interactions. If an accused can change his Jati/Varna and become the Judge whenever he likes, how is the Law supposed to work ?? These are the issues which goes unanswered in all such debates. All we are told again and again that it's not by birth it's not by birth. How it worked if not by birth nobody knows ?

आज पहलीबार मुझे सुनने में ज्यादा आनंद आ रहा है।2007 में 3 बार श्रीमद् भगवदगीता पढ़ने के बाद4 थी बार में इसी अध्याय के इसी श्लोक पे रुक गया था।बहुत सोचा समझा,समझ आया।हम कितने गलत हो गए।गुण कर्म की जगह जन्मजात वर्ण करना कितना घातक हुआ।आज हम सिर्फ और सिर्फ शेष भारत में अंतिम सांसे गिन रहे हैं।

@@cambs643 हा जी ,पहले सोचते थे कि समाज में हर बिरादरी के लोग जन्म से ही ऊंच नीच पैदा लेते है।हमारा धर्म ग्रंथ भी यही कहता है। लेकिन श्रीमद् भगवदगीता पढ़ने के बाद मुझे मालूम हुआ कि सच्चाई क्या है।सनातन वैदिक विज्ञान में जन्मजात कुछ नही है।सब कुछ हमारे गुण( जो कि हम बचपन से युवा तक सीखते हैं) और गुण के अनुसार किए गए हमारे कर्म ही हमे अपना अपना वर्ण चुनने का अधिकार देता है।

वर्ण शब्द "वृञ" धातु से बनता है जिसका मतलब है चयन या वरण करना है । महर्षि मनु कहते हैं- =>शूद्रो ब्राह्मणतामेति ब्राह्मणश्चैति शूद्रताम। क्षत्रियाज्जातमेवं तु विद्याद्वैश्यात्तथैव च। - (मनुस्मृति-10/65) अर्थात- कर्म के अनुसार ब्राह्मण शूद्रता को प्राप्त हो जाता है और शूद्र ब्राह्मणत्व को। इसी प्रकार क्षत्रिय और वैश्य से उत्पन्न संतान भी अन्य वर्णों को प्राप्त हो जाया करती हैं। =>शुचिरुत्कृष्टशुश्रूषूर्मृदुवागनहंकृत: । ब्राह्मणद्याश्रयो नित्यमुत्कृष्टां जातिमश्नुते - (मनुस्मृति- 9/335) अर्थात - शुद्ध-पवित्र, अपने से उत्कृष्ट वर्ण वालों की सेवा करने वाला, मधुरभाषी, अहंकार से रहित, सदा ब्राह्मण आदि तीनों वर्णों की सेवा में संलग्न शूद्र भी उत्तम ब्रह्मजन्म के अतंर्गत दूसरे वर्ण को प्राप्त कर लेता है । * ब्रह्मजन्म से अभिप्राय शिक्षित होने से है। शिक्षित होने को दूसरा जन्म भी कहा गया है । प्राचीन इतिहास में वर्ण परिवर्तन के उदाहरण :-- (1) ऐतरेय ऋषि दास अथवा अपराधी के पुत्र थे । परन्तु उच्च कोटि के ब्राह्मण बने और उन्होंने ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण और ऐतरेय उपनिषद की रचना की । ऋग्वेद को समझने के लिए ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण अतिशय आवश्यक माना जाता है । (2) ऐलूष ऋषि दासी पुत्र थे । जुआरी और हीन चरित्र भी थे । परन्तु बाद में उन्होंने अध्ययन किया और ऋग्वेद पर अनुसन्धान करके अनेक अविष्कार किये । ऋषियों ने उन्हें आमंत्रित कर के आचार्य पद पर आसीन किया । (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण २.१९) (3) सत्यकाम जाबाल गणिका (वेश्या) के पुत्र थे परन्तु वे ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त हुए। (4) राजा दक्ष के पुत्र पृषध शूद्र हो गए थे, प्रायश्चित स्वरुप तपस्या करके उन्होंने मोक्ष प्राप्त किया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.१.१४) अगर उत्तर रामायण की मिलावटी कथा के अनुसार शूद्रों के लिए तपस्या करना मना होता तो पृषध ये कैसे कर पाए? (5) राजा नेदिष्ट के पुत्र नाभाग वैश्य हुए । पुनः इनके कई पुत्रों ने क्षत्रिय वर्ण अपनाया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.१.१३) (6) धृष्ट नाभाग के पुत्र थे परन्तु ब्राह्मण हुए और उनके पुत्र ने क्षत्रिय वर्ण अपनाया । (विष्णु पुराण ४.२.२) (7) आगे उन्हींके वंश में पुनः कुछ ब्राह्मण हुए । (विष्णु पुराण ४.२.२) (9) भागवत के अनुसार राजपुत्र अग्निवेश्य ब्राह्मण हुए । (10) विष्णुपुराण और भागवत के अनुसार रथोतर क्षत्रिय से ब्राह्मण बने । (11) हारित क्षत्रियपुत्र से ब्राह्मण हुए । (विष्णु पुराण ४.३.५) (12) क्षत्रियकुल में जन्में शौनक ने ब्राह्मणत्व प्राप्त किया । (विष्णु पुराण४.८.१) (14) मातंग चांडालपुत्र से ब्राह्मण बने ।(महाभारत, अनु0 3.19) (15) ऋषि पुलस्त्य का पौत्र रावण अपने कर्मों से राक्षस बना । (16) राजा रघु का पुत्र प्रवृद्ध राक्षस हुआ । (17) त्रिशंकु राजा होते हुए भी कर्मों से चांडाल बन गए थे । (18) विश्वामित्र के पुत्रों ने शूद्र वर्ण अपनाया । विश्वामित्र स्वयं क्षत्रिय थे परन्तु बाद उन्होंने ब्राह्मणत्व को प्राप्त किया । (19) विदुर दासी पुत्र थे । तथापि वे ब्राह्मण हुए और उन्होंने हस्तिनापुर साम्राज्य का मंत्री पद सुशोभित किया ।(महाभारत, आदिपर्व100 -101, 135-137) (20) वत्स शूद्र कुल में उत्पन्न होकर भी ऋषि बने । (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण २.१९) (21) कान्यकुज के राजा विश्वरथ राज्य को त्याग कर क्षत्रिय से ब्राह्मण बने और फिर ब्रह्मर्षि का पद प्राप्त किया और ब्रह्मर्षि विश्वामित्र के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए। उनके अनेक पुत्रों में से कुछ क्षत्रिय ही रहे तो कुछ ब्राह्मण बन गये, जो आज कौशिक ब्राह्मण कहाते हैं। (वाल्मीकि रामायण, बालकाण्ड 51-56 अध्याय) (22) चक्रवर्ती क्षत्रिय राजा मनु वैवस्वत का नाभानेदिष्ट नामक पुत्र ब्राह्मण बना (ऐतरेय ब्राह्मण 5.14) (23) दीर्घतमा नामक ऋषि के कई पुत्र थे, उनमें से कुछ ब्राह्मण बने तो कुछ क्षत्रिय। उनके वंशजों को ‘वालेय ब्राह्मण’ और ‘वालेय क्षत्रिय’ कहा जाता है। (विष्णुपुराण 4.18 ; भागवत पुराण 9.20) (24) पांचाल-राजा भर्याश्व का एक पुत्र मुद्गल राजा था, जो क्षत्रिय था। बाद में यह और इसके वंशज ब्राह्मण बन गये। इसके वंशज ब्राह्मण आज भी ‘मौद्गल ब्राह्मण’ कहलाते हैं (भागवतपुराण-9.21; वायु पुराण 99.198) (25) वाल्मीकि निन कुल में उत्पन्न हुए, किन्तु वे ब्रह्मर्षि और महाकवि बने। (स्कंद पुराण, वै0 21) (26) सत्यकाम जाबाल अज्ञात कुल का था। वह अपनी सत्यवादिता एवं प्रखर बुद्धि के कारण महान् और प्रसिद्ध ऋषि बना। ( पंचविश ब्राह्मण 8.6.1)

Sir,Intellectually storming session indeed.Once at our home my described a very interesting incident at her workplace.Once a elderly person from her native village met her at market when she was coming with her colleague.My Mataji went into conversation by paying respects as Doddappa or bade papa.Then her colleuge asked her whether he is really your bade papa.Then my mother told that we respect elders of our village like our own family members.I was amazed to hear that civilizational value.

Varna theoratically is not birth based but ability based, but unfortunately on ground it is exactly the opposite.. What is the reason, why in practice in India, varna has turned into birth based... People do not touh, eat with lower cast people.. Is it only the fault of foreigners, or it was our own Bhramins who wrongly interpreted varna on the base of birth.. In Mahabharat, Soot cast were not allowed to learn weapons ..

Shudra and Vedas❤️ 🌺शूद्रों का वेद अध्ययन एवं उसके प्रचार का अधिकार🌺 - यथे॒मां वाचं॑ कल्या॒णीमा॒वदा॑नि॒ जने॑भ्यः। ब्र॒ह्म॒रा॒ज॒न्या᳖भ्या शूद्राय॒ चार्या॑य च॒ स्वाय॒ चार॑णाय च। प्रि॒यो दे॒वानां॒ दक्षि॑णायै दा॒तुरि॒ह भू॑यासम॒यं मे॒ कामः॒ समृ॑ध्यता॒मुप॑ मा॒दो न॑मतु ॥२ ॥ ( यजुर्वेद » अध्याय:26» मन्त्र:2 ) अर्थ - हे मनुष्यो ! मैं (ईश्वर ) सबका कल्याण करने वाली वेदरूप वाणी का सब जनों के लिए उपदेश कर रहा हूँ, जैसे मैं इस वाणी का ब्राह्मण , क्षत्रियों, शूद्रों और वैश्यों के लिए जैसे मैं इसका उपदेश कर रहा हूँ और जिन्हें तुम अपना आत्मीय समझते हो , उन सबके लिए इसका उपदेश कर रहा हूँ और जिसे पराया समझते हो, उसके लिए भी मैं इसका उपदेश कर रहा हूँ, वैसे ही तुम भी आगे आगे सब लोगों के लिए इस वाणी के उपदेश का क्रम चलते रहो. ____________________________ 🌺शुद्रो से समानता का व्यव्हार🌺 - रुचं॑ नो धेहि ब्राह्म॒णेषु॒ रुच॒ꣳ राज॑सु नस्कृधि। रुचं॒ विश्ये॑षु शू॒द्रेषु॒ मयि॑ धेहि रु॒चा रुच॑म् ॥४८ ॥ (यजुर्वेद » अध्याय:18» मन्त्र:48) अर्थ - हे ईश्वर ! आप हमारी रुचि ब्राह्मणों के प्रति उत्पन्न कीजिए, क्षत्रियों के प्रति उत्पन्न कीजिए, वैश्यों के प्रति उत्पन्न कीजिए और शूद्रों के प्रति उत्पन्न कीजिए। मंत्र का भाव यह है कि हे परमात्मन! आपकी कृपा से हमारा स्वभाव और मन ऐसा हो जाए कि ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य और शूद्र सभी वर्णों के लोगों के प्रति हमारी रुचि हो। सभी वर्णों के लोग हमें अच्छे लगें। सभी वर्णों के लोगों के प्रति हमारा बर्ताव सदा प्रेम और प्रीति का रहे। ____________________________ 🌺शुद्रो व अन्य वर्णों के पापों के लिए छमा याचना 🌺- यद् ग्रामे॒ यदर॑ण्ये॒ यत्स॒भायां॒ यदि॑न्द्रि॒ये। यच्छू॒द्रे यदर्ये॒ यदेन॑श्चकृ॒मा व॒यं यदेक॒स्याधि॒ धर्म॑णि॒ तस्या॑व॒यज॑नमसि ॥१७ ॥ (यजुर्वेद » अध्याय:20» मन्त्र:17) अर्थ - हे विद्वन् ! हम लोग जो गाँव में , जो जङ्गल में , जो सभा में ,जो मन में , जो शूद्र में , जो स्वामी वा वैश्य में ब्राह्मण या क्षत्रिय में , जो एक के ऊपर धर्म में तथा जो और अपराध करते हैं वा करनेवाले हैं उस सबका आप छुड़ाने के साधन हैं, ________________________________ 🌺शूद्र यज्ञ कर सकता है🌺 - अ॒ग्नेस्त॒नूर॑सि वा॒चो वि॒सर्ज॑नं दे॒ववी॑तये त्वा गृह्णामि बृ॒हद् ग्रा॑वासि वानस्प॒त्यः सऽइ॒दं दे॒वेभ्यो॑ ह॒विः श॑मीष्व सु॒शमि॑ शमीष्व। हवि॑ष्कृ॒देहि॒ हवि॑ष्कृ॒देहि॑ ॥१५॥ (यजुर्वेद » अध्याय:1» मन्त्र:15) अर्थ - मैं सब जनों के सहित और काष्ठ के मूसल आदि पदार्थ विद्वान् वा दिव्यगुणों के लिये उस यज्ञ को श्रेष्ठ विद्वान् वा विविध भोगों की प्राप्ति के लिये ग्रहण करता हूं। हे विद्वान् मनुष्य! तुम विद्वानों के सुख के लिये अच्छे प्रकार दुःख शान्त करने वाले यज्ञ करने योग्य पदार्थ को अत्यन्त शुद्ध करो। जो मनुष्य वेद आदि शास्त्रों को प्रीतिपूर्वक पढ़ते वा पढ़ाते हैं, उन्हीं को यह होम में चढ़ाने योग्य पदार्थों का विधान करने वाली जो कि यज्ञ को करने के लिये ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य और शूद्रों की शुद्ध सुशिक्षित और प्रसिद्ध वाणी वेद के पढ़ने से है . ________________________________ 🌺शुद्रो को नमन एवं सत्कार करना 🌺- नम॒स्तक्ष॑भ्यो रथका॒रेभ्य॑श्च वो॒ नमो॒ नमः॒ कुला॑लेभ्यः क॒र्मारेभ्यश्च वो॒ नमो॒ नमो॑ निषा॒देभ्यः॑ पु॒ञ्जिष्ठे॑भ्यश्च वो॒ नमो॒ नमः॑ श्व॒निभ्यो॑ मृग॒युभ्य॑श्च वो॒ नमः॑ ॥२७ ॥ (यजुर्वेद » अध्याय:16» मन्त्र:27) अर्थ - हे मनुष्यो ! जैसे राजा परिश्रम करने वालों को धन देके सत्कार करते है उसी तरह मट्टी के पात्र बनानेवालों को को नमन है अन्नादि पदार्थ और खड्ग, बन्दूक और तोप आदि शस्त्र बनानेवाले तुम लोगों का सत्कार व नमन करते हैं वन और पर्वतादि में रह कर अन्नादि देते , कुत्तों को शिक्षा करने ( कुत्तों को पालतू बनाना) तुम को अन्नादि देते और अपने आत्मा से वन के हरिण आदि पशुओं को चाहने वाले तुम लोगों का सत्कार करते हैं, वैसे तुम लोग भी करो . ___________________________ 🌺ईश्वर की नज़र में सभी एक सामान है कोई बड़ा छोटा नहीं 🌺- अज्येष्ठासो अकनिष्ठास एते सं भ्रातरो वावृधुः सौभाय । -(ऋग्वेद 5/60/5) अर्थ:-ईश्वर कहता है कि हे संसार के लोगों ! न तो तुममें कोई बड़ा है और न छोटा।तुम सब भाई-भाई हो। सौभाग्य की प्राप्ति के लिए आगे बढ़ो।

In Jyotisa/Vedic Astrology we always follow "Karmasya Brahmana" and Varna is based on 4 types of planet. For Example:- Jupiter is Satva hence rules Brahmana/Consulting professions, Mercury is Rajas planet hence rules Vaishya Varna, and so on. This is seen from Varnada Lagna, karma one will do in this life. It is more like an HR department that does a talent test and then offers a post in a related department. Hope this helps.

I have seen many Patrika of same caste people but Varna were different of those people. My Varna according to Patrika is Kshatriya and I show some characteristics of this Varna, so I think it depends on your Karma and you can choose appropriate work according to your Varna.

Varna ka matlabb Rang nahi hota tau. tamil mein vamma ka matlabb rang hota hai. Varna ka matlab classification hota hai.

Shudra were the richest varna before British. They became poor because of industries britishers started which destroyed their business.

They became poor because shatriya never fought against British and became there agents and started collecting huge taxes, only Maratha and Sikhs fought against British there was no Rajput Anglo war happend in past, angreszon ne hume loota aur humaree shatriya samaaj ne unki madad kari lagaan wasool kar, apnee je prajaa koo loota

@@ASHOK898 British came in only after death of Raja Ranjith Singh's, the court of Sikh had factions fighting, the factions who were disadvantaged were recruited by Brits. Also, it was the British who made the Jatt Sikh Code in effect, they went to scriptures and set a code of 5 kakars as strict entry level requirement. Before that Sikhs were not following it strictly, also the Surname Singh was optional but for British recruitments they were all made mandatory.

Whole this debate about Warna is undesireable as this was vehementally cancelled by this old fashioned republic and its western educated grossly foolish Macaulay children who replaced the warna with so many highly divisive constitutional questions of Jati/race, tribe, sect, dera, Hindu-muslim etc ., as also with a strange British theory of Martial Races and Non martial races {as per which theory, the said non-martial races are just a surplus lot of urban idlers and cowards) and still with another equally far-fetched British theory of Peasant tribes and land ownership. So far as Caste, it is totally a different word having nil or little relevance with India. Jai Sri Ram, Jai Sri Hanuman.

Varna is by birth only .these guys are justifying a social evil .nothing good in this hindu varna system .it is is a social evil .I myself a hindu and I'm ashamed of this system. Shame on these people for justifying or trying to say it is not by birth. It was always by birth.

I think varna is svabhaava, guna, aptitude and action based. A person’s varna can change in own’s lifetime. The duties are determined based on the varna the persons considers he is in and not determined by others.

Bilkul galat salat vyakhya hai iss vishay par aaj. Varna toh janmjaat hi hota hai....arthat Brahmin, Kshatriya etc. janm se hi hota hai. BrahmaGyaan kisi ko bhi ho sakta hai parantu Varna janm se hi hota hai. Paramparik Vidwaano ka paksha bilkul सुदृढ़ hai and yahan kiya gaya khandan bahut disingenuous hai.

Ho sakta hai ki warn janam-jaat ho, lekin pichhley 100 warshon sey constitutionally cancelled hai. Aaj kall jati ka bol baala hai. Jati Samvidhan ka sarvoch angg hai. Waise Firka, Kabila, dera, hindu muslim, martial races theory, peasant tribes theory bhee kuchh kamm nain hein. Jai Sri Ram.
