So just want to add to KV’s comment about interpolations (later additions) into the Mahabharata and say that the episode of Draupadi calling Duryodhana “andhe ka putra andha” comes from a NEWSPAPER ARTICLE! It was a news article about Indira Gandhi or Sanjay Gandhi, which aimed insult at them around the time of Emergency. This led to the popularisation of this phrase. In actuality, it was Bhima who laughed at the falling Duryodhana, and later on Duryodhana was so scared that he started walking as if everything is water, to which Bhima says ‘this is more swimming in air than walking’ and they laugh again.
