If you remove the oil cooler, then you definitely need to remove the oil restrictor under the oil filter, otherwise there will be problems with crankshaft lubrication.

My honest opinion on getting a mill is you would find yourself using it more then you realize now as a fabricator. Not only that it could give your custom parts more flare and would open up more projects you could be able to take on.

You will end up using a mill about a thousand times more than you imagine. I bit the weenie and bought a nice FTV-2S, used, about 8 years ago......that thing gets used 10 times more than my entire collection of 10mm sockets and wrenches! I can't be without one any more.

Those "solderstick" connectors have been around prolly 20s years now as I was using them back in the 2000s building custom bikes and trikes and they are the schnit... Still using them today...

How do they react to the heat from the engine and the exaust.can you do a test for us with a dummie wire with a solder stick about 2 or 3" from the exaust just for testing purpose and come back with your observation after the first ride. I'm really interessted in that product but it's still not availlable in canada

I've been dying to see more progress on this project but the videos are too short and you don't make much progress at all lately. I know your probably busy, and your pretty young so I know how that is, sometimes you just want to blow off some steam with your friends and other things. Just bringing to your attention. I watch a few channels but yours is one of them I look forward to the most. This build is cool. I had an idea, the gap between the body and the front of the rear tire, you could make a flare come off of the body slanted to the back closer to the wheel and over the top and behind the back wheel as well. Almost exactly like a 1929 models 2 door sedan. Look up some pictures. So cool. Hope to hear from you. Keep up the good work but we want more. Lol.
