She's so patronizingly weak for a champion though. I get that they're meant to teach the game mechanics through her, but would it kill game freak to make her fights a bit harder on the player. I mean it's dumb down too much. The first time she shows you terastralization she uses a Pawmi that exclusively uses thundershock. I switched to a Diglett and her AI still kept spamming thundershock. The gameplay does not match up with the narrative at all and makes Nemona seem like a badly written character. She had so much potential as a unique rival, but she's been relegated to a glorified training wheel for the player.

@@Dell-ol6hb Maybe I'm weird here but I honestly don't think the games are getting easier, I think the people who have just been playing them for a while aren't idiot 10 year olds anymore lol Especially in sword and shield, and moreso in scarlet and violent, its very easy to fuck off to explore then come back with an entire team of wildly overleveled pokemon so of COURSE the game is easy. if you were semi-forced on a linear route like earlier games you'd have a harder time. Yes, some trainers are still easy and some are still hard but the fact that scarlet and violent not only use some competitive tactics here and there but also teach them in game for the first time in a more thorough way is pretty impressive. especially some of the DLC fights are quite challenging! there's a post game nemona fight that's also fairly tough. play with level caps and the game because much more tricky No excuse for the geeta fight though, i can't explain that one

As for Turo and Gardevallade, that would again be Vasko's choice. I, personally, would go with Gardevoir.

Nemona has become one of my favourite Pokémon characters of all time. She is the friendly rival archetype done so right! Really glad to see your run confirm her as a champion (unlike Geeta, sadly). Also: I've said it before. But given Clavell's challenge in this run, it makes me wish he had the background of retired top champion all the more.

Hey, I have an interesting idea: Can Pia become the champion? You know, that gym challenger npc that you speculated in a previous video as potentially being the fourth gym challenger that made it to the champion cup and battled againts Hop in Sword and Shield. You can even make a series with all the gym challengers since you can see the pokemon that they use in their teams since they all appear trainer you can battle in the champion title defense battles and try to create their stories with the few lines they have and give them an arc related to the npcs they resemble (as if they were related) and to the other gym challengers too. I´ve seen your previous videos and your stories for the characters are all pretty creative and in line with their characters. So this could be a fun idea to try as well.

As someone who has done a Pia challenge I can say with confidence that she can't get past Kabu. I also had a Theemin run but I had to use an Onix against Kabu since he has a Steelix, and then he lost to Leon. Also these trainers cannot dynamax for added difficulty

And there's no reason to believe that they don't use dynamax in the story just because they didn't use it against the player. The only reason why they didn't use dynamax is to avoid creating animations for it. Not because they can't.

For the Dudunsparce thing, Shiny catherine did a evolving shiny dunsparce every day till she got a three segment dudunsparce, and she ended up putting multiple dunsparce into videos because it was taking so long. It ended up being 53 days and 299 shiny dunsparce before she got ONE three segment. So yea, it takes a lot of patience.

this series is a lot of fun! about Lycanroc's evolution at Iono's gym, you can see the sky getting lighter as the battle progresses. so you probably battled her until daybreak and didn't notice because terastalization darkens your surroundings :)

There’s a lot of cool ideas for newer games, but have you considered doing runs in older games? There’s a lot of really cool ideas, like ORAS as Zinnia or Emerald as Steven, or even doing a run of Yellow using Red’s HGSS team (or with his GSC team with another Eeveelution than Espeon, but just using a Lapras instead would be easier, it’s just that Yellow is the best since you can get all 3 starters). While it may be hard to keep the illusion with a game without customization, you could even mod some of the older games to swap the player sprite or model if you know how, I could try and make a sprite if needed.

You can get the bid for a bit cheaper I have noticed that if you go with low bids until you can bid for 35000 so I think it would be highest bid at the time would be 25000 they will give up bidding if you bid 10000 more than the previous bid Edit: If you haven't thought about it you should see if Cavell can become champion

It depends on who you're bidding against. I don't know if it's set for that particular auction or not, but for the auctions overall there are 8 NPCs, one male and one female of each of 4 behavior types. The little kids dip earliest, the young adults just a little before the older adults, and the grayhairs drive up the prices to extortionate levels.

Its occured to me that at least in story and not game Nemona's behavior is likely what caused her to win the league on raw pokemon level. I assume that Nemona has a good eye for spotting fiesty pokemon that like to scrap. She sure didn't make that team because of strategy. And of course she battles everyone and everything. Save for the titans and team star. Those quests are personally tied to the player and not Nemona. But I imagine with her first go round her pokemon accummulates so much raw experience she likely steamrolled her way into the league

The move's name indicates the kind of boost or debuff it can receive, like how fists/punch get boosted by Iron fist, how Pulses gets boosted by megalauncher, slashing moves get boosted by Sharpness or how bomb/bullets get denied by bulletproof. Pokemon's combat system is so oddly deep I'm amazed.

In that case, it's the ability that's influencing the power of the move, not the move's name. Bullet Punch isn't made stronger just because it's named Bullet Punch; its power is only increased if the Pokémon using it has the ability Iron Fist.

Can Nemona persistent battle spirit help her become champion once again She president, prodigy, and previous champion for a reason. Incinerate the competition early and later being unbreakable rock. Worthy gym opponent and it took illegally modified pokemon cars to beat her but can’t take her down. I guess taste of sand, the hatred is just enough to beat her.
